[Image: aWAg5ub.jpg]Good shave tonight. Sticking with another one of my domestic razors. That being my Top Flight by Burrell. The New York made razors. This one in Ellicottville. In my experience they are all well made. With great steel.  The 1508.5 of my Grecian Horse goes well.  And the Proraso Red being in heavy rotation with it. Will make room for other aftershaves on the shelf.
Was planning on watching the football games today. But the greedy bastard NFL  decided to not show them to you. Unless you pay for their network. Oh well capitalism.

[Image: 9MLV22t.jpg]Yesterday's shave. Didn't have a chance to post up on account of watching football.
Continuing my domestic razor extravaganza. Genco/Geneva one of the most prolific American manufacturers. Easy to find on the bay. One in good nick, will do you a treat. Good steel well made. Another "can't go wrong" kind of razor. This one is a Geneva "Pyramid" razor. Nothing fancy. But great shaver none the less. Soap is my Kell's Original Arabian Spice.
Think this is a glycerin base soap. Nice scent/strength good performance. Very hard translucent puck. Easy to lather. Whipped up with a Razorock 400 brush. A great brush for the price. Proraso red to finish.

[Image: us8Yrhu.jpg]Tonight's shave features my purrty Genco Easy Aces. This one may be a slightly thinner grind than my other Geneva Pyramid example. I have about 9 more uses left of the Grecian Horse. The Omega boar brush seems a little low rent setting next to the Easy Aces but it still does a nice job.
I enjoy using modern technology as it enabled me to watch the Bengals beat up on the Steelers while it put all of this nice equipment to use. Who would have thought that we would have phones and tablets we could carry around the house and watch tv wirelessly. Remember when you had extra long cords on the phone so you could walk around and talk?

Yeah, I saw that game too.  It played out like a Twilight Zone episode, and I remember thinking "If only they'd gotten Rod Serling for the play-by-play, it would have been perfect."  Anyway, nice shave.  Ride the horse as long as you can brother.
