Fine Superlite Slant

This thing is the biggest waste of 30.00 I've ever spent wet shaving.  As far as I'm concerned this may be the worst wet shaving purchase of all time.  It's shaves horrid, it's the size of a toy and feels like one.... This thing is horrid,absolutely horrid.  I won't even give this away to someone as I think it would be rude.  It's now my 4 year old sons pretend bath razor...

Something tells me you didn't like this razor very much..


I think I gave it too much of the benefit of the doubt, it is too harsh as a daily shaver. It's now at the back of the drawer gathering dust. No way to flip it where I am from so.. yey me.

XD! Even after all this time the reviews of this thing are still all over the place

This is either is a perfect example of how subjective this hobby can be, or a fine example of poor quality control that this razor is getting such mixed reviews from people. (pun intended )

I still like mine, I get good shaves from it no matter what one of my normal go to blades I use. Is it a perfect razor? No. And I can agree to what DonnerJack said about the finish, otherwise, it shaves well, for me, and that's what matter in the long run... to me

One of these days I'll have to try a Superlite. Because I have a nickel allergy, I have lots of old bakelite and plastic razors that I shave with. It really is an acquired taste and is very different than shaving with a metal razor. I have one of the "famed" bakelite slants as well as several others that are very similar in design. They work great and are among my favorite razors. They are all more aggressive than the Razorock slants, (I've sold two models of them because they were too mild for me). My favorite bakelite is actually not a slant. It's the Neillite 400. When I read reviews of these other razors, they also split dramatically between those that like and can adapt to the lightness and those that don't.
