Chisiled Face Cryogen. I have a few other Chisiled Face offerings that I like and I know a lot of "menth heads" love this stuff.  To me, it was terrible. My eyes and nose were watering and running to the point I couldn't even shave. I had to wash my face and use a different soap after one pass.  Further, that much menthol just sitting on my face was uncomfortable and far from enjoyable .  It's been a while since I bought a soap that I won't use more than once and can honestly say I hate.  This one fits that bill.

I like a touch of menthol that offers a gentle cooling effect. To me, menthol should be what salt is to food, an accent, not the main product.

As Freddy said as an accent and a really good one I'm plowing through now is the I Coloniali mango soap. Nice subtle menthol wake up...gentle.

This is one of my absolute favorite soaps!

Great performance and as you mention just a hint of menthol. I happen to love the scent as well although it seems polarizing within the community.

Ron makes no bones about it. Cryogen is for the hardcore menthol junkies. You lather it with a brick and shave it off with a brand new Feather in an R41 2011.

Since I am the guy, when the waitstaff brings a plate to the table and says:

"Be careful. That plate is hot!"

The first thing I do is grab the plate I am seriously thinking of picking up a tub Smile

That stuff was stronger than Yeti Snot to me. Used it once and traded it. Now I just load YS for about 10-15 seconds and then put some green proraso out of the tube onto the brush.

If you can shave with it you are a tuff man.
