The positive feedback means quite a bit coming from you Paul. My thought process on things like this is a direct result of my father, grandfather and great grandfather.
My great grandfather was a life long farmer. My grandfather grew up on the farm during the depression. So he passed on his problem solving skills to my father. And him to me.
Look at what you have on hand. Figure out how to make something you need. Out of something you already have.
I had some fittings in the basement. And for some reason as I was moving some stuff around. I must have been thinking about brush handles. That's how this whole tangent started.
The most interesting thing so far has been the ones that I thought would be the most "popular" have not really been.
I have been wanting to turn some wood ones. But the lathe is over at my folks house and they are older and with the mysterious ailment that comes from nobody knows where. Or possibly another dimension. I am just not willing to risk exposing them.
Hope your weekend is going well.
