feather pro super SE blades

I found the Feather super blades to be initially the harshest face feel to any of the other feathers or Kai blades I tried in my Mongoose SS. I don't know if the edge is a slightly different geometry to the others but I wouldn't worry because I never found them to last any longer or be any more effective than the regular Pro blades. The roughness went at about the 5th shave for me and as I said they lasted just shy of what I got from the Pro blade.

that's how I felt as well. they were overly aggressive on my skin. no thanks!

I may go back and try them again but probably more because I've got a whole pack of them gathering dust.

Blades are a YMMV thing, of course. In the Feather AC straights I find the Pro Supers to be way more simpatico -- more forgiving -- than the Pros. I'm going on shave 34 with my current Pro Super, as I described here.

I liked the AlumiGoose 2, but it was a bit too mild for me. I prefer to feel the edge of the blade against my skin. I gave my AlumiGoose to a friend, along with my dispenser of Pro blades. He's thrilled.
