Does anyone else track the price of the AS-D2 on Amazon which goes up and down in price as if it were on the stock market? I have been wanting to pick one up but wanted to see how low it would get. For the last few months it has steadily dropped in price from around $200 at one time down to the $150 range. On Black Friday I checked the price right before going to bed and it was $119.94 and free prime shipping. I told my wife it was too good of a deal to pass up and that I might buy it in the morning even though we were still Christmas Shopping. I didn't think about the fact that it was Black Friday until the next day when I checked again and the price was back up to around $160 were it still remains. There was no mention of it being on sale and there never is, it just jumps all over the place in price. A few months ago I recall one night the price was around $135.00 and someone posted so on a forum and within a few minutes literally it was right back up to regular price. Because of these crazy price changes I am going to wait and see if it drops back down below $130 and then buy it.

I don't track Shave items, but do other stuff. The prices are always jumping around.

You're best be is to install a browser addon like "thetracktor.com" and set a price to alert you. When it hits it, jump on it.

Amazon you can always return or cancel the order if you have a change of heart.

I never heard of a price tracker but will check that out definitely and thank you for mentioning it.

The good ones will show you the history of the price too. It will show the high price, low price and everything in between.

It has helped me land many deals.

All evidence has been buried, all tapes have been erased.

I just used it and it's great! Thanks! I just learned by using it that the higher priced Feather on there is actually an AS-D1 and does say so in the description but it looks identical to the AS-D2. I would think the AS-D2 would cost more. Anyway, thanks again.

Glad you brought this up. I, too, have been wondering why the Feather AS-D2 jumps around so much on Amazon. Set up thetracktor.com to be alerted at $140.00 at which price I'll buy it (with Prime shipping). It's one of the three high end Stainless Steel DE razors that I plan to buy, the ATT and Wolfman being the other two.

They currently have the D2 on Massdrop with a final price of 144.99 if they reach the target amount of people, which with this razor they always do. Just a Thought!

I use www.CamelCamelCamel.com. You can set your desired price, and it will email you when the price reaches your set amount. It also shows you historical data on the prices. I'm pretty sure they have a browser extension as well..
