Could not agree more! His latest 2.0 version is sublime!

He just announced that he will be raising the price from $12 to $15 per jar. Since it’s three ounces of soap instead of four, that’ll make it somewhat expensive in relation to the dollars-per-ounce value of the most affordable soaps. However, I think that this soap is worth it.

OK, gentlemen, Talbot Shaving Soap is one that I've been wanting to try for a while now.  I might need jump on the Instagram bandwagon* and try to snag one.  I also thought that it was virtually unobtanium.  Thanks for the heads-up/instructions!

*I'm not tech challenged, but have been avoiding a lot of the social network mainstays: facebook, Instagram, and etc.  Maybe this changes things a little for me?(still not going on facebook! Rolleyes I mean no disrespect to those on facebook, but I've seen enough of that)

Similar experience here. With my first ever order of the tallow formula, I received a very generous sample of one their vegan soaps. If that one ever is back in stock again, I’m buying one. Smile

The maker has a full time university position so I imagine his time is very limited. That said, my samples were all tallow and for the money it was the best artisan soap ounce for ounce. I think many based their opinions on his earlier softer formula whereas his later harder soap was what I had in the Spring of 2017. Absolutely top shelf stuff. Wink
