I just use whatever bar soap is in the shower for face and hair.

I have adult acne, and used to use Cetaphil. But I felt like it never really worked well. So, I went on a personal mission this past few months to come up with something better. I started with a castile bar, but it didn't do much better. My latest experiment is liquid soap with tea tree and lavender oil. So far so good. I've got less breakouts.

I use a tea tree face wash from Trader Joes. I didn't like the scent at first but it's grown on me. So far it's the best face wash I've ever used. Tea tree is perfect for my oily skin.

I'm a head shaver and I struggle with folliculitis (bacterial, not so much psuedo) on the back of my head.  I've spent the past 6 months doing some controlled experiementing, and it's the first time in a few years that I've been able to go that long without antibiotics.  While I haven't tried many of the ones mentioned in this thread, the one that still works best for me is plain old liquid Neutrogena.  My derm actually told me to stay away from oils as they can not only clog pores, but also collect dirt and dead skin and hold them close to the skin (and the follicles) making the problem worse.

I did have the same experience with Cetaphil and Noxzema though.  Both of them seemed to make my skin worse.

seriously guys, the bigelow lemon soap free was almost a miracle for my wife. she started with that and then once her face was MUCH clearer, like almost 100% she also added clinda gel with nicatonimide (not sure on spelling) to prevent anything further. her face has literally never been this clear ever even as a kid. i have sources for the clindamyacin gel's if anyone is interested pm me and ill give you the link.

Another vote for Jack Black Pure Clean. But I recently decided to give Billy Jealousy White Knight a try and have been very happy with it.
