Again the disagreement over the definition of aggressive. My hat is off to you sir for the best and simplest definition I have heard yet.

I think there are razors that can give an extremely efficient and close shave while still not feeling aggressive - I do not accept that aggression is a price you have to pay for high efficiency. I do like both mild and highly efficient razors, however, so I will answer on that basis.

My current choice for a mild razor would be the Wolfman WR2 0.95 SB, though it is also pretty efficient for me.

For a highly efficient razor I would choose the Wolfman WR2 1.55 SB, which also gives me a reliably comfortable shave.

For a combination of both I would choose the Lambda Ares v2 - capable of giving a very efficient shave with no distress at all to my skin.

Semantics. What Moriarty thinks when he hears that word is harsh. What many of the rest of us think is highly efficient. My definition is it makes a good single-pass shaver. That's independent of comfort.

For what it's worth, my answer would be the same for both, but since I get to choose one for each, I would go with my Rhodium Fatboy and my H&S Ti 1.30 (followed very closely by my Progress and my Stirling ST).

I'm still new and have only used 4 razors in my time, but I've found my Blackland Era #2 SB with a Derby blade to work perfectly for my sensitive skin.

This is a tough one for me as I have so many great highly efficient higher gap razors. I’ll come back to this one.

Every day: H&S Co. Z074-ti DE razor
More Efficient: Polished SS Blackland Vector (head attached to artisan polished Ti handle w/ same dimensions as stock handle) using Schick Proline AC blades
--Been rolling more or less only with these two razors since early May 2021 (I also own the adjustable Supply injector since Feb 2022,  but it's been in its box for months; just haven't cared to use it after a handful of uses upon receipt).

I **might** take a shot at the soon-to-be released Blackland Blackbird Lite Titanium.  I tried the OG Blackbird, I'm pretty sure, during it's first year of release; it was just too aggressive for me to use any more than as a maybe once every 5 or 6 days razor.  As someone who shaves 6 times a week about 47 weeks out of the year, such a razor just makes no sense for me.

Aggressive to me means it can “mow it down”, harsh means unusable to me. I list an adjustable, single edge and double edge.

For everyday razor it means I can run it 7 days in a row. I have razors I can run 3 or 4 days in a row but by 5th day my skin would feel raw or irritated. I have become an every other day shaver, but from time to time I do shave daily as well.

Aggressive - the one pass razors - for me - Ymmv are

Adjustable : Rocnel 21 & 22 with Wizamets

Se : Vector Titanium with Feather Supers

De : Wolfman Ti 1.65 or Ti 1.55 with PolSilvers

Everyday : the razors you can buff many times over and get no irritation, gentle on skin but criteria has to be efficient. May take full 3 passes.

Adjustable : Taiga or Muramasa

Se : Colonial General v2 or Mongoose II

De : H&s Ti Efficient or Wr1 Ti .80 Dc

My Goat : Raw Rs-10
