Scentsless Shaver

Here's my favorite, the SynBad from AP Shave Co. Left to right, 26mm, 28mm, and 30mm. End brushes in AP handles, middle is from Trotter Handcrafts aka Stubble Daddy
[Image: VpjCS73.jpg]

And over head, same order. The 28mm is massive!

This one has to be my favorite. The handle is so ergonomic for my hand, the colors and design of the wood is amazing, the weight is light thus easily maneuvered, and it is made by one of our own here Stubble Daddy . I can't speak highly enough about the work he did on this piece. [Image: 27636b3a634c20b5fc6dcab4c0cde822.jpg]

Hey, I have its brother from another mother!

I believe you'll find the Trotter works best of all three. If it's the same design as mine, the handle has a slight curve out to where it terminates at the bristles. In my demented mind, I think this allows better splaying without spring-back.

Lol. It's a beautiful brush, isn't it. Mine has 2 quarters, or 3.5mm below the knot. I feel like it increases the ease of splaying (which both the handle and brush were designed for). The end result: This brush is a face lathering dream.

Edit: After looking closely, it appears just the top one (in between the APs) has that convex top. It also has a great face lathering brush head.

The two brushes that I seem to reach for the most often because I just love the way they feel and work on the face are these two: this Brad Sears/Morris & Forndran 26mm Heritage II Blonde Badger and this Elite Razor Honduran Rosewood Burl 26mm Manchurian White.  I've got other brushes from "big name" hand knotters but these are my favorites.

For me it has to be one of these two from my collection…  The top 28mm VC01 super badger tufted Voigt & Cop brush most likely wins out overall, and is just an amazing combination of ergonomics, balance and artistry, but the Pennello Cavallo brush on the bottom is what I use most often and is spectacular too (also using a smaller 24mm version of the same VC01 hand tied knot as the other brush).   [Image: RswSDnH.jpg][Image: 5JaRedj.jpg]

I was just having this conversation the other day….. I made a very bold statement…I said “There are 2 new Kings in the shave-brush world and they’re not new; their names are Brad Sears and Bob Quinn”

I do not know how many brushes I own, but I do have from very expensive to inexpensive as well as in between and my two favorite ones are custom made. I am a big fan of Cammy from Street Fighter, so I had my friend make me two of her and those are my absolute favorite since they both are original. Which is your favorite brush, I would like to know.

Zero photos of your gorgeous brushes?

The Pennello Cavallo is a particularly handsome handle
