favorite bay rum products

As mentioned, I love Bay Rum scented things too. Tried a new one today: Crown King Navy Goat Lavender Bay. I like resinous lavender scents to that tend to the camphorous side. This leads with that and closes with Bay. Nicely done, solid performance too. Overall winner.

I might have to give that one a try, I like both those scents - much prefer the darker, resinous lavender to the flowery air freshener variety.

It's a good one. Different enough but still rooted in traditional Bay. I think you may like this one Marko !

Marko   Unfortunately, I'm allergic to LASS soaps, I don't know why, but I break in hives when I use it.  It sucks because I love the scent of Bespoke.

After reading this thread a while ago, I realized that Bay Rum is a hit or miss scent for people. I had no experience of using a bay rum soap/AS before today. I just finished shaving with Mystic Water Bay Rum sample, and I am literally sniffing my damp brush as I write. I love this smell, it's intoxicating and refreshing at the same time.  I smelled something similar before, may be when I was a child, but I just can't put my finger on it.

And so it begins.....

I use to buy the leaves in bulk...until I bought a tree! Help the world repopulate this wonderful tree....Save The Bay! They can be found real cheap on ebay! Hope this helps.

I really like Captain Choice and Stirling bay rums. Those are probably my favorite that I've tried.

bumping this as I just received my PAA bay rum soap from nachum through the BST. I must say, it smells pretty damn good. I need to smell it next to my Krampert's Finest AS as I think it's close in smell and being that Krampert's is my favorite bay rum scent so far...

That looks intriguing...admit it though, when push comes to shove you'll still be taking their ship and eating their heart! Arrrh This might pair well with D.R. Harris Bay Rum aftershave which is also a sophisticated take on bay rum.

As I said before, I am powerless when it comes to bay rum....I just placed an order for this soap and the other one with rose in it. That sounds very interesting as well.
