what's your favorite alcohol splashes with good skin conditioning properties? scent is irrelevant to me in this regard as I'll be looking for unscented versions to use for when I shave my head/face at night before going to bed...

Declaration Grooming splashes work the best for me. I think because it's a low alcohol formula and the botanical blend that's included plays well with my skin chemistry. Others that follow closely behind are Chatillon Lux, Barrister and Mann Reserve, and Australian Private Reserve. All excellent aftershaves. On the next tier I would put Barrister and Mann Deltus, Summer Break, Noble Otter, and Stirling.

Unscented options for splashes are harder to find though. I do know Chatillon Lux and Chiseled Face make them. Summer Break also has one called Icy Stare that has synthetic menthol.

Available now: Noble Otter Bare (unscented) splash is pretty good at keeping skin moisturized.

Up Next: I'm looking forward to the unscented skin food from Dragonsbeard's though it's said to be lower in alcohol. The next generation will have less alcohol and more witch hazel along with more aloe, a higher percentage of the EOS complex and some other additional ingredients. I have not tried DB skin food before but others say it's great.

Obviously Chatillon Lux but I’m going out in left field here and I’m going to recommend Ogallala aftershave splash/toner. A little alcohol but not too much, nice skin feel not drying and several really nice scents. My favourite is obviously Bay Rum but the Sage & Cedar and Limes & Peppercorn are good too. Their Sandalwood I’m on the fence about and the Vanilla is way too much vanilla for me.  I’m also really liking Czech & Speake Cuba right now  Happy2

Chatillon Lux is my favorite aftershave overall, but Maol Grooming presents the best face feel among my many, many aftershave splashes. Maol feels more like a balm than any of my other alcohol-based aftershaves.

The best Alcohol Splashes I’ve used are Barrister and Mann Reserve, Declaration Grooming, Chatillon Lux, and Maol Grooming. These are my top Aftershaves, the ones that leave my skin feeling the best.

For me, it has to be Chatillon Lux Unscented Aftershave.

I'm a big fan of B&M Reserve, though sadly as far as I know, Barrister_N_Mann does not produce an unscented version.

I like the chiseled face cryogen a lot. It might have the most menthol out there and it makes my eyes water, but I love it. If money is no option, the Czech and Speak splashes are very good, but not worth the money IMHO.
