Favorite Aftershave/Cologne Scent Discoveries of 2017

This year I tried a few new aftershaves and colognes that I had not used before, including:

Mennen Skin Bracer
Domenico Caraceni 1913 (which I used to scent old shaving soaps)
Guerlain Habit Rouge aftershave
Guerlain Vetiver aftershave
Houbigant Yama aftershave
Lagerfeld aftershave

Which ones have you tried this year?

Tuscan Oud is basically almost a cologne — I can smell it 8–12 hours (or more) after application.

I’d like to get a few new (proper) colognes or EdTs, but this year has been more about aftershaves. These have been highlights for me:
• Barrister’s Reserve: Cool (a pleasant scent with surprising longevity)
• Folsom and Company: Shambala (slightly synthetic and almost burnt smell when going on, but settles into a nice, classy scent after that)
• WhollyKaw: Dance of Agrumes (another “modern man”-type scent like the one above, and a fantastic one at that)

This has a subtle but intoxicating scent that the fairer sex cannot get enough of. To my wife’s chagrin. Lol

Purchased quite a few 2ml cologne decants this year, and most ended up saving me a lot of money in the long run. These, however, I enjoyed quite a bit and may end up doing some damage:
