July 5th, from 12:00 PM for the ¾ of an hour that I was on, the response time for the board to comply with my input to post etc. was running 10, 12 & 15 seconds. Other boards did not exhibit this slowness.

is it still like this for you? when it is slow, does it say anything at the bottom of your screen?

Seems ok, now, andrewjs18. I didn't notice anything at the bottom of the screen when the slowdown was present, but I could have missed it. Real sprightly, now!

I'm glad it smoothed out. I'm guessing a route went down somewhere or there was latency along the wire.

It happens occasionally for me, without any real discernible interference from my persepctive.

There are days when it cycles 20-30 seconds just trying to open the main page. I always hope it is due to high traffic...

Also, if it's very late at night (say 2-4am est), I may be applying changes to the site.

Same answers here. Directly on the aite, and its mid-day, for me, when it happens. Thats why mt presumption was traffic related.

I dont know how to do those commands you asked for in PM. Sorry...thats above my pc literacy...
