That’s a class looking shave right there the color combo reminds of a 1959 Cadillac Covertable in red with crème interior. I had a friend that had one and I was 14 I used to droll over that car. Thanks for the memory.

Funny how we associate one thing with another.

Yeah it is.  For me it's a white C2 Vette ragtop with red interior.

Speaking of C2’s this was mine a long time ago and I wish I had in vision to keep it. This was what was called a 360 Fuelie. The Fuel Injection was made right here in Rochester NY and it was the biggest HP option at the time. Can’t touch them now.

Posting Freak
Is that a 1958? When I was 16 (1976) I had an after school job washing cars at a used car lot that specialized in hot rods   Classic Corner. He had a 1958 and a 1957 corvette. The 58 was red with white panels 327 4 speed and the 57 was emerald metallic green with weird sort of mother of pearl panels, smaller motor (stock I think) three speed. Nice cars. Asking price at the time was $5,000.  He had a whole bunch of cool cars that I washed and polished (called detailing now) 62 chev impala 2 door ragtop four speed dual quad posi-traction 409. Cherry red white ragtop. Cool car. I don’t remember if I actually got paid or they just let me drive the cars!

No that was a 1962. The last year for that body style. The Sting Ray was introduced in 1963. And yes many of the early Corvettes like the 58 where two toned. In fact they offered that until the 62. Ah the 409. I actually had one right before the Corvette in the photo and traded in on the Vette. The 409 back in 63 cost $2,800. My Dad bought it for me as it was his sign of appreciation cause I worked at his grocery store/small supermarket starting at age 10 on Saturdays and then on some nights after school and never wanted a paycheck. It was my dad plus I enjoyed working there. I mostly separated bottles as all beverages like soda pop and beer came in glass bottles and were in either wooden or heavy cardboard boxes so when people used to bring them back someone has to organize them before being picked up. I also used to stock the shelves with goods. I started working when I was very young and been at it since then. I also started racing cars at 17 yrs old. Both road racing and drag racing. It wasn’t fancy back when I first started and raced until 2011 and then finally stopped as it got to expensive. Even when I had some sponsorships. Now I race razors over my face! lol Not as thrilling but much safer and cost a whole lot less. I started in personal care product development in 1991 and been doing that up till now.

Oh and the 62 Corvette was one year old when I got it and I paid $3,400 for it back then and a 360 fuelie tody can be over $200,00 in collectable condition nowadays.

That little vette never lost a race to a Chevy 409, a Ford 427 or the Dodge or Plymouth 413 hemi . We used to call it the little car that could! Lol
Lots of good memories but I better get back on topic as this is a shaving forum and this section is about soaps and creams. Trust me I could talk cars all day long no problem.
Nowadays I drive a Honda CRV as I need an SUV for work and this weather we get in western NY. Boring generic transportation compared to some of the cars I’ve had and raced but I’m ok with it. My sons still into cars so now and then I get to have a little fun driving his car.

Nice one Mike and thanks for sharing! Been lots of requests to make Rosa again and I will do that as I plan to get it in the line up as a standard scent.

Oh boy an oldie but goodie!  The new version is on the schedule for this winter.  Gotta get a little more citrus in that blend as that Tobacco Absolutel is a beast of an aroma.  One pin tip of the Absolute under my nose and if I don’t wash my Face ID probably still smell it.   Big Grin
