The Revitalizing Serum is and should be somewhat mild as the serum is not meant to be a replacement for a Aftershave or a EDP.  If you wanted more strength in any of the aromas that offer a serum you’d follow it using either the Skin Food Splash or a EDP.  As it’s more about the skin benefits rather than the scent and I hope you agree on that. Making an oil based perfume is a whole different thing. 

The scent level on your Revitalizing Serum is Goldilocks-perfect—any more would be too much, and any less wouldn’t be enough.

Rebus Knebus it’s funny I was just thinking about ShaveMD Mark today and I went to the rack and took a sniff. Got a little melancholy about our Shaving friends that With no longer with us.

So I have to admit, when all the fuss was going on a while back about Russian Tea I was mildly curious. I’d never in my life heard of Russian Tea. I did a quick google and didn’t look much further than Tang. I don’t have any positive memories associated with Tang. So this thing must be stalking me because today when checking out the Serious Eats website (excellent food resource) there was this article on Russian Tea right on the top page.  It’s interesting to know the history and also explains to some extent Dave in KY ’s enthusiasm for it. Maybe I’ll try it. Someday.

Mark, my connection with Russian Tea is when I would be doing Volunteer Construction work. In the colder months while working they would bring around hot cups of Russian Tea for us and so it's a fond memory and wanted someone to make a quality soap for it. Didn't see any out there by Quality soapmakers that I would buy from that were doing it and told Frank it would fill a void out there. I was thankful that he took on the challenge which he met with his typical passion and nailed it. Just sharing the background and why I was enthusiastic for it.

Marko I’ll add to what Dave said. I know your a huge Bay Rum fan and just so you know the Russian Tea was made in the same manner as I did an infusion using the raw ingredients which includes the fresh tea leaves and the fruits etc. they don’t smell the same but they do share 3 ingredients. Orange, clove and Cinnamon. No Tang! lol

UPDATE: 

Just so you know tonight and tomorrow morning I’m sending out the links for the Limited Edition “ Tears of a Dragon “ in the black glass jars. Just click the links and you’ll see the Soap and matching splash. 

On Saturday morning at 10 am EST ETHOS will release all the new products which include the other Tears of a Dragon post shave products and the EDP. Also the Noel Soap and Splash. We have a few  regular 7.5 oz jars of both scents for anyone looking for a larger size. These are only available on the ETHOS website. 

Both the The Razor Company and Pasteur’s will be releasing the products they have of the two scents as well at 10 am this Saturday morning.

That’s a relief! I might have to try it. Wasn’t Tang invented for astronauts or was that just marketing hype?
