ETHOS Grooming Essentials A New Line

I posted this on Instagram and Facebook so I figured it’s easy just to post it here as well. I’m going to be pretty much out of touch until Wednesday morning so please hold off on pm’s, texts and emails until Wednesday morning. I’m usually at work by 7:30 am so anytime after that. 

Also as of right now all the Limted Edition Tears of the Dragon are spoken for. As I mentioned there will be the 7.5 oz up on the website and the 4.5 oz size available at both The Razor Company and Pasteur Pharmacy along with ghe ETHOS website.

UPDATE: 

Well I wanted to let you all know I’ll be back to work tomorrow morning. I stopped by the warehouse on my way home to check on the place and to check the Limited Edition Black Glass Jars as I mentioned they are all spoken for but I was going on memory and I actually have 3 more than I thought so if interested I can take 3 more names on the list. Please email only! 

Between missing some work to take care the situation I had and my assistant being out with Pneumonia we lost some momentum. She is going to try to give me a half day tomorrow which will at least get the Never Sleeps products labeled and on Thursday I’ll pack them up and get them to Pasteur’s so I’m thinking early next week or possibly on the weekend depending on how fast the products get to NYC. 


I’m going to have to work every day and the weekends to get the Tears of the Dragon and the Noel Soaps out on time but I’m going to do it come hell or high water.

UPDATE: 

So these shipped out to Pasteur Pharmacy today and should/hopefully be there on Friday. If so we will both be releasing the Never Sleeps on Monday. If not then Tuesday morning for sure. 

We had a very productive first day back. My assistant Annette who’s recovering from a case of Pneumonia was a real trooper and made it from 8am till 2:30 pm and I had expected her to only stay a couple hours. Because of her dedication we were able to fill 99% of the customer orders and get the Pasteur order packed and shipped today. Tomorrow I’ll be getting the Tears of the Dragon started and on Friday will jar it and then on Monday I’ll get Noel started so we should be back on schedule with all 3 releases out before the Holidays which was my target.  

After the Christmas Holiday we will begin to aggressively start working on all the new projects which includes making some old favorites like Lost Souls and Mandarino Fumo as examples and some new ones I’m pretty excited about. Also be adding some more skincare, body and hair care products. One project I’m very excited about I’ve been working with my cosmetic chemist friend of mine on is 2 hair oils. One is for the overall health of hair and scalp with many benefits and the other version that provides same benefits but with added ingredients that target hair loss. 

Another one I’m excited about is a whipped Beef Tallow Skin Cream that has a lot more skin beneficial ingredients than the ones out in the general marketplace. Anyone who’s never heard or tried a cream I can tell you that after using even a basic formula of the cream as I made one it’s pretty amazing how it makes the skin look and feel. It’s also works extremely well on very or extremely dry skin like on the feet, knees and elbows for example ans there will be 2 versions. One that is more for the face and the other for the body. 

Anyway the Never Sleeps is on its way to a release date and once again since this was a scent that was originally requested by my son who lives in NYC that wears this type of trendy scent and after discussing this with the owner of Pasteur’s who was familiar with it he wanted us to do a collaboration on this one. The scent is inspired by a NYC trend of layering both Le Labo’s Santal 33 and Another 13. Of course it’s not exactly the same but I got close enough using both natural and synthetic aromatics. It was actually one of the easiest ones I’ve done out of all my cologne type scents. Succes still remains the one that took the longest to develop which was my first one I did for the ETHOS brand. I used to be more into these types of scents years ago and developed quite a few but as many know I’m definitely more interested and enjoy using all natural aroma ingredients and what’s referred to as natural perfuming. 95% of all colognes and EDP’s are 100% synthetic in case anyone wasn’t aware of that even though many market the aroma profile to make the buyers think their natural but if you look at the actual ingredients if their listed you’ll see their all synthetic aroma ingredients. Nothing wrong with that and there sure has been some masterpieces made by some of the master perfumer’s but natural perfuming is up and coming in the world of fragrance and I’m onboard that train more and more as I move along on my personal journey of fragrances. I have a big online class this February with a well renowned natural perfumer that I’m very excited about and I just invested in a series of books that dwell deeply into the art and has hundreds of formulas using only naturals. 

Anyway I used a little natural coloring to get a nice color for the Skin Food Splash as I didn’t like the way the creamy light yellowish color looked with the label. So check it out as I took a photo of the finished products today and of course I had to play in Photoroom for a decent background.
