Dave the Russian Tea infusion is almost complete. Got to get Dragonsbesrd out on October 1st as promised. The Russian Tea will follow very shortly afterwards.

Update: 

Just wanted to bring you up to date on what’s going on at ETHOS. 

So as I mentioned a few posts back Colonia is made and will be restocked on Thursday. It is the last of what I call the more lighter or summer scents and I understand that some of these are all year long scents. Some I’ll try to keep in stock as they become standards and some not till next spring. Due to a few life situations they were released a lot later than I would have liked but at least i got them all out and I have to say I’m very happy they were so well received. 

Moving forward I have a lot of new products and aromas planned between now and next spring. Some new categories of products like body sprays and facial sprays. Definitely more skincare products as the company moves into some other markets as we are seeing a lot more women purchasing out products and their main focus is on serums, lotions, body washes, shampoos & conditioners. Don’t get me wrong we are also seeing more men who are becoming more aware of their skincare needs in the wet shaving community which makes me happy because I can tell you it’s come a long way since I stated ETHOS. 

Getting back to the basics and shaving soaps and creams this year will find the elimination of the shaving creams but it will also see the release of a new soft base that as far as overall performance will challenge the F Base. 

With that said I’ve got plans for a bunch of new aromas I’ve been wanting to make and I’ve created a schedule that goes from now to late winter. Along with the new aromas I’ll be bringing back some scents I’ve done before like Lost Souls, King of the North and Mandarino Fumo. These will be made between some of the new aromas. Since I’m doing more and more infusions I’ll be releasing these when the infusions are complete as they all take different amounts of time to be completed. 

I’m going to do a Christmas/Holiday limited release that’s something I and a couple of my customers want to do that I’ll announce a little later on this fall. 

I can tell you that following the Dragonsbeard and Russian Tea the first older soap I’m going to make is Lost Souls and I’ll be adding some new products in that scent. The first new release will be a cologne inspired scent that will be in the Niche Boutique Collection called “ Never Sleeps “ and it’s going to be an exclusive with Pasteur Pharmacy.

I had a small amount and it didn’t have much scent to it and I didn’t know the scent profile. So I’d need at least 2 oz total and I would need the scent profile to give it a shot

Now that’s what I needed and a good sized sample of the shave soap and we can get this train a rolling. No predictions on how long but as soon as I get the soap I’ll check my inventory of the Aromatics in the profile and order anything I will need. Then it’s about how much of each and that’s where the shave soap helps a lot. I’ll work it into my schedule and along the way when I feel it’s ready for testing I’ll send out some samples to those that are most familiar with the original one.
