ETHOS Grooming Essentials A New Line

Looking forward to general release of the Island Family! A bit disappointed to see Carm TOTC bailed on you but I’m happy to buy straight from you. 

I’d like to thank everyone on DFS as yesterday by 6pm we sold out of every 7.5 oz Tortola Shave soap.

I’m glad I made a big batch of the 4.5 oz size of Tortola and the Traditional Bay Rum Shave soap. Also all the other Bay Rum products will be released as well and they will be available soon at all the vendors listed below and I’ll update when the release date will be when I have it.

This release was long overdue and I’m sorry it’s taken so long but I’ll have to say by letting the infusion go longer I can tell there are benefits from doing so. One of the things I’m proud of is I believe we created the first Bay Rum EDT’s. I had an idea of how we could get the scent stronger but wasn’t sure but thought you know unless you try and I think we succeeded in our quest. I can’t wait to hear some feedback from the Bay Rum connoisseur  as I consider myself still new at this Bay Rum game. 


Thanks again and enjoy your weekend and if you’re a sports guy the NFL playoffs. I’m currently looking forward to the games as both my teams are in them.

I’ve messaged Carmen more than a few times and he’s said when he finally responds that he definitely wants to order and continue to be a ETHOS Vendor and I’ve sent him a couple of updated order forms but I haven’t heard back yet so maybe he could use a little push from the customers. That may get him to get in touch with me. I’ve asked him to call me several times via WhatsApp but it hasn’t happened just texts. I’ve gotten quite a few orders from Canada so he’s missing out on some sales.

Carmine is a good guy and I really like him so I won’t give up on him yet.

I’ll try him again tomorrow.

Yeah it’s cold here as well and we got a lot of snow Saturday. 

I’m definitely going to be making Colonia looking forward and all Shave Soaps made are the latest F Base.  Love that Ostrich oil!

The Tortola in the 7.5 oz sold out your right but I made a whole lot of the 4.5 oz so vendors will have them and I’ll put them up on my website also. 

I’ll make another batch of both Bay Rums for the Summer and I’ll be introducing another variant also. I always make some 7.5 oz sizes but those are only sold on my website.

UPDATES: 

1. Ok so both the Bay Rum EDT’s are made and will be part of the orders that go out to the vendors. I’ll also have them on the ETHOS website. With that said I’m just letting anyone who may have their eye on one of these there are not a ton of them so I wouldn’t hesitate on these two. The Traditional Bay Rum is very dark and looks great in the bottle in person and the Tortola has that slightly creamy coco color. It’s also in the Frosted bottle as opposed to the traditional which is in the clear bottle. 
Hope you enjoy them. 

2. I have to ask for a little bit of patience from my customers who ordered this past Friday as some may know my assistant was out since last Wednesday with a bad Cold/Flu which put things a bit behind but the good news is she’s back today and we are going to be getting all the orders and there were ( a lot more than expected ) out the door as fast as possible and my initial guess is that all will be filled and shipped today, tomorrow and Wednesday. I’m currently looking for another employee as we have grown a lot in the last year and we need more help.  

3. Also I made a slight adjustment to the F Base in the Traditional Bay Rum as I had an idea about how to make the F Base even a little firmer and it worked so it’s definitely the hardest F Base I’ve made so far. I’ll wait to hear the feedback from my customers but I used some and it lathered up very easily and still had the same all around performance that all the F Bases have. The Tortola also was firmer than most F Bases but I didn’t go all out on the adjustment like I did on the Traditional Bay Rum.
