ETHOS Grooming Essentials A New Line

ETHOS in the house.  I had zero expectations when it came to Shave MD, coming in totally blind.  Took off the lid, brought the container up to my nose and was instantly with this fizzy aroma wafting up from the soap.  I don't think I've ever had that olfactory sensation from anything other than a freshly opened can of Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

Let me know if it morphs into Sprite.  I’m not kidding, I thought Ginger Ale and then Sprite.   I can’t make my mind up.

So I made this custom Revitalizing Serum for a customer but there was a miscommunication between us on serum or lotion so I have a fun offer or should I say my loss is someone’s gain. The first person that pm’s me with an order for a Blood Orange Tallow Shave Creme will get this Free. It smells awesome and the combo of the two will make for a nice shave experience. This custom serum would be $55.00 by itself normally because of the Coffee C02 Extract and I have some customers that would probably buy it if I mentioned it but I want to give it away so I thought this would be something new to try.

Anyone remember the Terry’s smashingly good orange chocolate balls?  I think that would must be marvelous.  Frank hinted orange and chocolate but I can’t picture the Johnny Depp Chocolat version of DB.

Reminiscences of childhood

Okay Frank Dragonsbeard , can you explain something.  I'm comparing DB v2 and v4. If I sniff the DBv4 first, I smell DB. And when I follow up with a big sniff of v2, they both smell pretty much the same.  But if I smell v2 first and then sniff v4, I pick up Vanilla Safi from v4 and not DB.  I've tested this several times the past two days.  The results are always the same.  I'm fascinated at how we perceive scents and this one has me scratching my head.

Hello my friend and honestly my only explanation without doing the same snell test the only thing I can say is the Aroma Blend formula has not changed with the exception of V1 to V2. One thing to consider is the V2 is more than 2 years matured whereas the V4 is basically brand new. As I’ve mentioned before Wood oils mature with age. So that would kind of support that as the V2’s Oud has gotten stronger with age. Example, my never opened V1 Skin Food Is a very dark color as opposed to the V4 which is very light but I’ll guarantee it will be dark within a year or so as the Vanilla in the Aroma blend will as always come to the surface and take over and that will happen even more so in the Shave Soap. It’s what vanilla does and that’s get darker with time.  AlphaFrank75o you’ve peeked my curiosity and I’ll bring my V2 to the warehouse tomorrow and compare it to the V4 so I can put my nose on both side by side and I’ll give you my take on the subject.
