I recently purchased 5 new Ethos soaps.

4 - 7.5
1- 4.5

I have empty jars of the 7.5 and 4.5 that are the same as he used in his last run.

Every soap (without lid) weighed 0.5-0.9 oz more than the label when I tared the scale with the empty jar that correlates in size.

So I got more than the label… every time.

Quick edit - and I had already taken 1-3 shaves from each jar (scooped) before I measured the weight.

Thanks for taking the time to do that Mike. Much appreciated

We just finished the Nuage de Citron in both sizes and the fill on the 7.5 is around 7.75 to the very top
The fill in the 4.5 was between 4.65 and 4.70.. I go above the label number and then stop so there’s a little variance in each jar but they are all over the label amount.

An the Nuage de Citron definitely has a more pronounced Lemon forward aroma but it still maintains its DNA.

Great shaves!

In the same vein, I just opened my recently received 7.5 oz jar of Dragonsbeard V4 for the first time.  As has been said already, the jar was packed to the brim.  More importantly perhaps, it has that unmistakable and beguiling Dragonsbeard fragrance!   Happy2  Happy2

Ditto with mine, not sure how any more could have been fit in it.

Here is the Aroma blend which by the way is 100% Natural.

Aroma Blend of Immortelle Absolute, Turmeric CO2 Extract, Calabrian Bergamot EO, Japanese Yuzu EO, Cardamom EO, Turmeric EO, Rose Geranium EO, Spikenard EO, Labdanum EO, Ylang Ylang EO, East Indian Sandalwood EO, White Champaca Absolute.

The main player is the Immortelle Absolute which many are not familiar with and is in my opinion a beautiful stand alone aroma experience. Also noted it comes from the same species of plant that produces Helichrysum italicum essential oil if your familiar with that but quite a bit stronger. It is a deep, sweet, hay/honey like with some spiciness and tobacco notes. So somewhat complex within itself. Of course all the other aromatics within this aroma blend creates a very distinct scent that to me reflects and represents the spirit of the Tiger. Beautiful but fierce. This Aroma blend has good longevity.

Hope that gives you and idea of what the aroma blend is like.

Thank you for the inquiry.

Sounds fantastic Frank. Immortelle is prominent in Amouage XXV. It is also a base note in Marc-Antoine Barrois’ Ganymede. Those are two I have tried and enjoy. I guess I have another Ethos set to add to my need to buy list!

I am thinking of expanding my Ethos collection when the Bay Rum release happens and would like to ask what the differences between the two will be. I'd also like to know from those that have the 1st version, do you have the Stirling version and what would the scent differences be? Thanks in advance...
