I’m glad they strong-armed me too! From a sales standpoint it’s been a winner.

Finally branching out to try something other that Stirling!! Browsing the site a couple days ago and saw the Shave MD soap was in stock and since I had missed out in the past I had to pick it up this time. Should be here for my Sunday shave this weekend. Excited to see how it compares to my usual...

NOTICE: 

So it was brought to my attention by 2 of my good customers that the Nuage Di Citron scent was not as Lemony as it was the first time I made it and that the East Indian Sandalwood was really starting to rise to the surface. I’ve been so busy with not only the business but also dealing with both a moderate return of Diverticulitis, some allergy issues and my eye surgery most recently that I did not have my nose on the jars of the soap. Today I confirmed that my two customers are correct and of course that really bothers me. So what I’ll be doing is pulling all the inventory of the Shave soap and adjusting the Aroma Blend so that it’s the way it’s supposed to be and that’s a lot more Lemon forward. Now I do have a number of customers that like it like that but to me it’s still not representing the name which means A Cloud of Lemons”  so it will be available within a week or so with the proper aroma 

For those that bought it and have used it and feel the same way I’m offering you a bottle of the Lemon part of the Aroma blend so that you can add a couple of drops to your shave bowl or drop a couple of drops in the jar before lathering from the jar. It works great as I played with it today. 

I’m totally to blame on this and I’m thinking it’s a combination of two things. One was because of my allergies my nose was probably off the day I mixed the blend which I had written down from the first batch which I made almost 2 yrs ago. I remember some customers back then had requested I increase the Sandalwood so I think I added a bit more to this last batch. But the other reason is that batch of Sandalwood I had back then was not as strong or as woody as this latest batch of East Indian Sandalwood EO and that’s probably why it’s even more prominent in this batch and I’m also thinking that my allergies and nose didn’t pick up on any of this. 

So just know that when it’s released again it will speak of Lemon much louder than it does now. 

So don’t feel funny if you want a bottle of the Lemon additive just email me with your full address and we will get a bottle out to you very soon.  Bottom line I have to feel good about a release in this case the Aroma and I don’t feel it represents the name on the jar. I’m not a pretender and I want to be as up front about anything ETHOS to my customers. If it ain’t right I’ll fix it one way or the other

All custom orders are done by email. That’s how we start the process. Anything is possible within certain parameters and standards I live by. 

So email me with your request. 

Some examples of some current custom orders just to give you an idea of the variety of requests. 

A pure 100% Coffee Shave Soap. 

A Vanilla, Tonka Bean and Sandalwood Serum. 

A 15 ml of Red Champaca & Vintage 1934 Mysore EDP two extremely expensive ingredients 

A Polo Green Shave Soap & Splash. 

A Tom Ford Lost Cherry EDP. 

A pure Ylang Ylang Shave Creme and Splash. 

So all kinds of requests.

So I just got these from Monica my graphic designer so we can proof them before ordering the labels. So these will be the products offered in the Vanilla Safi release. 

1. Special F Base Shave Soap

All these are the latest formulas in case anyone is wondering. 

I thought I’d post the photos as I got them if anyone is interested in reading the ingredients.
