ETHOS Grooming Essentials A New Line

Need input from members and customers: 

Ok so I listened to my customer and members on here way back when I only had the 7.5 oz jars as many of you requested a smaller size which as you know I added the 4.5 oz size and it's done well but all along the way any Shave soap that was still available in the 7.5 oz has sold out especially in the Lavender Supreme and Success and at one time the Clean. Also I've been asked multiple times from customers if they can get a specific Shave Soap or Creme in the 7.5 oz as a custom order.  So I'm sitting here with a boat load of these large jars and I'm wondering now that a couple of years have gone by maybe things have changed. 

So my question to you is how many of you would like to see some or all the Shave Soaps and Creme's come in both sizes. To me the pros are you pay less per oz when purchasing the larger size and the cons are you pay more out of pocket.  Obviously it also takes longer to go through the larger size so that may be a plus for some and a minus for others.  I'm at the crossroads on this and want to make a strong decision on this subject. I will also post this on social media as I have a good amount of customers on there.  Also not sure if I should keep the 7.5 oz as an exclusive to the ETHOS website as I have in the past or let the vendors carry them also.  

Any input would be a big help and PLEASE when responding quote so this post doesn't get lost as it is the weekend and I know the site gets a little slow so someone who chimes in on Monday may not see it to give their input as it's no longer visible or is on the previous page and gets lost. 

I would buy a large jar of everything.  I nearly always prefer to get more product and pay less per ounce for it.

That’s an excellent point IMO. I would spring for the supersize Dragonsbeard without blinking an eye (the hard soap).

Thanks guys for your support and making my decision easier on using the 7.5 oz size jars. 

rocket HighSpeedDanLaw I will have the large size Jars available in all the scents you’ve listed.  

Dragonsbeard will come in the normal 4.5 oz and the 200 ml optional black glass jars. 

Lost Souls is a Fall release but all the others mentioned are coming soon. Making the Cremes this week which I started yesterday and this coming weekend I’ll start the F Base Soaps.  I’ll post updates on which ones I’m making.

UPDATE: 

After a couple of requests by customers I just thought I’d let you all know that we now offer Shop Pay on the website.  This gives the customer a chance to break up the order into 4 payments instead of paying for everything in one lump sum.

I’m starting to take pre orders on Friday.  Since you asked me to make you an authentic Violet Shave soap as a custom order and it grew from that to where it is now hope you don’t mind but I already took the liberty put you on the list so you’re good my friend.  Labels should be here in about a week and the Violeta will be be made and in the jars waiting for the labels. There will be 21 jars of the F Base Shave Soap  ( one for me lol ) so 20 jars will be available in this first limited release and also the matching Skin Food Splashes.  If there’s a really good response I’ll make another batch quickly and all the vendors will get them but for the first 20 they will only be available by pre - rider or on the ETHOS website once officially released. Of course if I get 20 pre - orders I’ll very quickly make the larger batch and order the labels for the Serum and lotion. I also think because of the scent strength it would make for a good EDP. 


Thank you for asking as I was going to post the information up tomorrow that Pre- Orders will be available on Friday morning at 10am EST. People wanting to place a pre- order have to contact me by using the email address on the website under “ Contact Us “ and I’ll need the persons contact information and what they’d like Shave Soap or Skin Food Splash or the set of both.

The way it will work is I will be sending a link to the folks on the Pre Order list and they will be the only people that can see the Violeta products and purchase them if they choose.  We will have an official release to the public afterwards.  So disregard my original response below.

Hi Matt 

I’m waiting for the bulk batch of Shave soap I made to cure as this is the biggest batch I’ve made by far and I’ll be making bigger ones twice a month and eventually they will all cure for a full 3 months which will actually make the soap even better it’s just going to take till probably take till mid to late fall before this program is in full swing. 

So Violeta is probably about a week or so away the pre - order list is only one shy of being full so I may have to extend the list and make more than I anticipated.

Wanted to let you all know that both the new Blood Orange & Melange Di’Agrume Tallow Shave Crème’s will come with a Vial of the Aroma Blend. This gives the customer the ability to add scent strength to either of these citrus cremes if they want to.  Add a drop or two to the shave bowl or you can even add some to your matching post shave products.  


Here’s a photo of the Melange Di Agrume and the vial below
