Frank,  can you describe the scent profile of Rosa?  Is it a pure rose or is there other stuff going on?

Yes the s scent profile is fairly simple as it a 100% natural blend of various Rose Aromatics . No other notes. Below is the Rosa F Base Shave soap which has the full spectrum of all the Rose Aromatics used in it. The Serum for example because it’s oil based doesn’t contain the Rose Floral Water.

CORRECT    Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Organic Bulgarian Rose De Mai Hydrosol, Stearic Acid, Grass Fed Beef Tallow, Duck Fat, Organic Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Cocoa Butter, Kokum Butter, Cupuacu Butter, Organic Rose Butter, Organic Glycerin, Potassium Stearate, Sheep Milk, Camel Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Grass Fed Bison Tallow, Argan Oil, Organic Rosehip Seed Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Organic Bulgarian Red Rose Damask Essential Oil, Organic Bulgarian White Rose Essential Oil, Organic Rose Extract CO2, Organic Rose Distillate, Ostrich Oil, EOS Complex, Allantoin, Organic Rose Damask Absolute, Oat Amino Acids, Silk Amino Acids, Soy/Rice Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid Oil, Organic Vitamin E Oil, Sodium Lactate, Xanthan Gum, Rose Extract, Lanolin, Comfrey Extract Calendula Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Rose Hip Extract, Milk Thistle Extract, Chamomile Extract. So it’s a Aroma blend of multiple but natural Rose Aromatics with no other notes but because of the different Aromatics it does take one on a Rose journey and because I have smelled each of the individual Rose Aromatics I can detect them in the blend. 

When I come out with the Mixology Collection I think Rosa will mix well with so many other Aromatics .

Do to detect any difference between the F Base and the Tallow cream?

The last couple of posts reminded me of  my late/previous wife also. She walked in the woods every day (and night) as her way of coping. Life is good, but interesting how even a description of a scent can be instantly and vividly evocative, yet peaceful.

I tend not to like most sophisticated scents, possibly because I’m also allergic to some of them (maybe the patchouli?). Even a barbershop scent I was spritzed with recently choked me up. Still, I’ve never tried a fougere; perhaps I should.

Do to detect any difference between the F Base and the Tallow cream?

There is a slight difference in that the Aroma Blend goes in the Tallow Shave Creme at room temperature so the blend stays perfectly intact whereas when making the Shave soap the Aroma Blend is exposed to higher temperatures so I have to use more of the blend to try and match the Tallow Shave Crème.  Bottom line if you like Rose they both smell great

I’m starting to take pre orders on Friday.  Since you asked me to make you an authentic Violet Shave soap as a custom order and it grew from that to where it is now hope you don’t mind but I already took the liberty put you on the list so you’re good my friend.  Labels should be here in about a week and the Violeta will be be made and in the jars waiting for the labels. There will be 21 jars of the F Base Shave Soap  ( one for me lol ) so 20 jars will be available in this first limited release and also the matching Skin Food Splashes.  If there’s a really good response I’ll make another batch quickly and all the vendors will get them but for the first 20 they will only be available by pre - rider or on the ETHOS website once officially released. Of course if I get 20 pre - orders I’ll very quickly make the larger batch and order the labels for the Serum and lotion. I also think because of the scent strength it would make for a good EDP.

It’s easy. Just send an email to the email address found on the website under Contact Us. Then just state what you’d like and that’s it. No money is needed at this point. Once the labels get here whatever products are left I’ll be putting them up on the website.
