I also didn’t stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.  I truly have no idea what an absolute is compared to an essential oil.  Syrupy sounds hard to work with for me, even sticky.

I hate a post shave sticky feeling - which I NEVER have any residual feeling from Ethos Splashes or lotion.

Hi Mike

No worries on the sticky.. by the time the Absolutes find their way into any ETHOS product their adjusted to be workable. An I agree, I very much dislike sticky or waxy post shave products.

Enjoy your Sunday my friend

Thought sone of you might like to see what the Violet infusion looked like when it was started and what it looks like when it’s finished and ready to be used.  I’m pretty sure we are going to have a slightly green shave soap and splash! It won’t stick though as I’ve already tested it.

This infusion is made with both the leaves and flowers of two Violet plants. You can see it only yielded a little over 100 ml which is enough for what I’m doing as it’s very powerful.

UPDATE:

I made a decision today based on some experiences I've had in the last few months. I have a good number of customers from outside the USA and many times I get orders that are for Alcohol based products like Skin Food Splash and EDT/EDP etc. Well I don't ship Alcohol outside the USA and although I have the Skin Food Lotion without Alcohol it is my observation that a lot of guys want a splash. I've made both myself and other customers custom Non - Alcohol Skin Food Splashes and I honestly like them as the scent comes out really nice as your not dealing with the Alcohol smell at all.  I really like and use the Bergamotto quite a bit and I made myself a Alcohol free Skin Food Splash and I reach for that more than the Alcohol version and I like the scent strength better. Now with that said. I want to put them in  a different bottle. So some of the options I'm thinking about are listed below. I'd like to get your feedback on what you'd suggest.

1. The bottle I use for my Serums in Frosted as I can get reducers and use the same metal tops that are on my regular Skin Food Splashes
2. Use the same matte white bottles that I use for my Skin Food Lotions but my reducers and caps won't fit on there. So I have only one option. Use a fine mist sprayer.
3. Use the same bottle I'm using now only in Frosted and use the same reducer and cap I've been using.
4. There are some options in unique bottles but they are all sprayers.

So your input would be helpful as I'd like my customers to enjoy the packaging their products come in.

Thank you

Frank

2.) - I request a sprayer for the hybrid aftershave as do some others.  I spray it on my palms, apply.

#3 is my choice.  I'm guessing it's the same one used with Tortola SFS and if so, I really like that bottle.

I'd like to get a bottle of the non-alcohol Bergamotto SFS.  I've been thinking about getting a backup of Bergamotto SFS.  I'm finding it to be kind of versatile to use with other soaps.

Something with a reducer would be my first choice.  #1 is tops for me, and #3 next.

I'd prefer #3 because I've come to associate that bottle shape with your splashes. It makes it easy on my brain.

#3 for consistency imo. Keep the splashes in a similar designed bottle and keep the serums in their own asthetic. I only wish the frosted bottles were the alcohol based splashes Smile.

I agree with Cino for exactly the same reason.  Same product, same bottle (Splash).  Frosted is a good idea.  This gives the two products a noticeable difference.

While we are on the subject of Ethos bottles...
I have received 2 EDP round bottles (different scents) which do not spray at all.  I transferred their contents into other empty spray bottles I saved.  I am curious if anyone else has had this issue with the round EDP bottles?  I tried shortening the pickup, but that did not work.  IMO, the problem is a defective push mechanism (pump) at the top.  All other Ethos spray bottles have worked fine, and I have many.
