Thank you my friend!

A shave cream in Rose seems like a tradition as I’m told and I had a few requests that I make the Rosa in the Tallow Shave Creme.  Of course the majority of wet shavers seem like they prefer a shave soap, especially one that they can load right out of the jar.  So in the Rosa I thought I’d offer both Creme & Soap.  I won’t do that with every scent but here and there I will like when I make my Fougere I’ll offer both.

Without going into extreme detail and sounding bias I will say I used both Rosa TSC and F Base in the last week and they both lathered up easily and offered good protection & slickness as I used 2 different very efficient razors when I used them to give them the final test.

Best regards

Frank

Ok another question for you members.

So I have for some F Base Shave soaps and I’ll use both Vetivert and Nuage Di Agrume as examples that I have plenty of both Shave soap and Skin Food Splash labels for left from the first run. They were both in my very first F Base . Since then I’ve had 2 upgrades in the F Base. Anyway as some may know labels are not inexpensive so my question is because the new F Base has some different fundamental ingredients in it but the Aroma Blend is still the same would you hold off on making the products and get new labels or make them and get them back out there? Of course I still have to buy new labels for the Skin Food Lotion and the Revitalizing Serums and in some cases an EDT or EDP but that’s what I’m doing with 80 - 90% of the aroma blends now.

So I’m curious to hear your feedback and how you’d feel getting a scent like the Vetivert that’s made in the brand new F Base but having a old F Base side label on it that’s missing some of the new ingredients listed that are on the new F Base soaps like Sándalo for example.

The reason I’m asking is I’ve been thinking of quickly making some shave soaps that have been out of stock for a while now that would be great for the upcoming warmer weather.

Thoughts?

Thanks as always for your input.

You could always self-print out a small sticker with the new ingredients list and put over the old ingredients on the current stickers you have. similar to in this picture, but probably solid white instead (found on Google search as an example... no idea what it's from).

I'd imagine that would be fairly cheap and quick?[Image: ad6b5ed3c975c9234712adb307610c3d.jpg]

Really could give a damn re labels as long as scent IDed properly and general base IDed. Not obtaining to sell.

For that matter, place a small label with mm/yy of mfr on bottom. Just simple 0,25" with '04/23' to ID

The labels have to be accurate Frank. They don’t have to be pretty. You could take mrdoug’s idea with an opaque, glue backing, and show the ingredients accurately. Time will march on, and people will look back and remember you as a top shelf, haute couture artisan, who coincidentally happened to also be a practical man.

Or you could mislabel the jars and deal with a legion of (bottom feeding) lawyers.

Just my two cents.

I agree - I'm not worried about the ingredients labeling at all, the website is sufficient for me.

But the cheap inkjet label idea as an "extra" seems like a good idea too. Of course I say that as someone motivated to get a few jars of the next Nuage Di Agrume batch Smile

Well I’ve made up my mind I’m not taking any chances with a potential lawsuit and I’m going to order new side labels with the correct ingredients. People pay good money for a product and they should have the correct ingredient list to reference in case they may be allergic to an ingredient. Yes it’s a shame to have to throw away the perfectly good side labels but I look at this as a lesion learned.

Thank you for all the suggestions.
