Ok so after yesterdays posts about the Violet a lots happened since then. For one I have to thank Nero  for noticing the spelling error in the Collection Name. So besides the Violet label being wrong this mistake was also on the Rosa labels, all of them. We contacted the label company first thing this morning praying that they didn’t start printing them yet and the gods were with us as they were going to start them today.

The name of the Collection will be changed to below

    Las Flores Collection

Also Monica wasn’t happy with the Violet label as it was. She thought it was to busy and the big yellow center of the flower didn’t look right so we will be changing the label and I’ll post it up as soon as it’s done.

As far as the name goes depending on how it looks on the label I’m going with either one of these two.

Essenza di Violetta or just plain Violetta

Again depending on how the longer name looks on the label.

Oh and a side note I’m definitely adding an infusion of both Violet Leafs and the Flowers as I have two plants at home and they are smelling good so a little bonus to the Aroma Blend in the shave soap.

Thanks everyone for your help! Always appreciated.

It was probably more of a soapy violet flavour. What can I say? We were weird kids back in the 60s. While most kids back then had probably tried it, I don’t think anyone would have ranked it in their top 10 chewing gums. Double Bubble and Bazooka had a lock Smile

Absolutely Bazooka and Double Bubble. I won a bubble blowing contest when I was like 10 at a local playground.. good times.
Girls liked Juicy Fruit  and they’d crack the gum and drive everyone crazy Angel

Speaking of Bubble Gum did you know I made a customer a custom Bubble Gum Shave soap and Skin Food Splash?

He’s one of your comrades from Canada.

Cool. I didn’t know that. That guy was probably a bubble blowing champion in his youth and wants to recapture his glory days!

I have to admit but I took some home and used it and it was actually a fun shave. His feedback was that he enjoyed it a lot to but I’m going to message him and ask him if he competed in Bubble Gun blowing contests. It made me wonder if there’s a bit of a market for nostalgia scents.

Anyway t was a fun project.

Maybe you’re on to something. Scent and memory are closely linked.  Can you mix up some 58 Corvette?

So my Graphic Designer and myself finished the Label design for the Violet Shave soap top label and I’m going back and forth on the name. A part of me wants to just call it Violet plain and simple in English, but another part of me likes these other names as the message is this is Pure Violet or the essence of Violet.

So here’s the there names I’ve got.

1. Violet
2. Essenza Di Violeta
3. Violeta Pura
4 Violeta - Spanish,
5. Viola - Italian
6. Violette - French

Hey and if anyone has a suggestion feel free to post them

Thank you

Also forgot to mention my Graphic Designer wanted to do something more abstract but I wanted to keep it simple and show the flower. She also liked white font and I liked the yellow. Any thoughts guys?
White would look much better than a yellow Frank.

Hi Jags!

Yes we are actually changing the label image and the the font will be white. The more I looked at the last one the more it just didn’t work. An if I were to keep that image I’d have changed the font to white.

Thanks for the input.
