So my Graphic Designer and myself finished the Label design for the Violet Shave soap top label and I’m going back and forth on the name. A part of me wants to just call it Violet plain and simple in English, but another part of me likes these other names as the message is this is Pure Violet or the essence of Violet.

So here’s the there names I’ve got.

1. Violet
2. Essenza Di Violeta
3. Violeta Pura
4 Violeta - Spanish,
5. Viola - Italian
6. Violette - French

Hey and if anyone has a suggestion feel free to post them

Thank you

Also forgot to mention my Graphic Designer wanted to do something more abstract but I wanted to keep it simple and show the flower. She also liked white font and I liked the yellow. Any thoughts guys?

Maintain language consistency between collection and scent nomenclature

Whatever language and outcome, be sure to double check before going to print.
Italian uses 2 Ts. Violetta, not violeta.
(In regards to #2).

I'm biased but prefer Italian over others Smile

I too am biased (having lived in Italy for 6 months while a college student long ago), but I really like Violetta Pura. But Pure Violet would be OK.

Violetta is also a word.
I was only pointing out that spelling it "violeta" is not Italian.

That was my bad it is supposed to be this in Italian I copied and pasted it from the Spanish, Latin or French version as I was all over the place lol

Essenza Di Violetta

An the more I look at it I think it’s my favorite so far. I also don’t mind just “ Violetta “ if my Graphic Designer thinks it’s to long.

Essenza Di Violetta does have a bit of a meaning behind it as this will have the Essence of both the Violet Leaf and the Violet Flower in the Aroma Blend.

All you guys always come through with excellent suggestions.

Thanks!

Btw, on a related note, it would be "Las Flores" (not La)

In any event, I like #2 the best, as well!

(Just coincidentally, Essenza is my favorite ADP scent.)

SMN has a Violetta bar soap, so you'll be in good company going that route. I smelled this in a shop years ago in SLC (shop was called Tabula Rasa, believe it or not, and they had a fair amount of shaving goods too), and I remember really liking it.

It should be called Thrills in homage to the violet flavoured gum and the packaging should be yellow and white.
