BTW: I'm all in on Jazz Club!
Yes I’ve used that quite a bit in the CBD labs but it’s not as scent free as the Everclear. The closest is the Pure Cane Sugar Alcohol.

That's a great idea. All you have to do is subscribe to Discovery + and binge watch Moonshiners.
Haha! Good one!
Frank, I hope you have plans to make another batch of Tonka Bean in 2023 as it has become my most versatile soap, lending its goodness to other soaps. And it's excellent all by itself too. Even though this SFS has a pretty good alcohol burn, I think it's worth the price of admission for the great post shave skin feel. And with the use both of these soaps, dairy butter wishes it was as smooth as my skin feels.
This morning I actually timed when and for how long the alcohol burn lasted from the SFS. It took 10 seconds after application for the burning to start and then lasted right about a minute. This was from my initial bottle purchased when Tonka Bean was first released.

Hello my friend.. So to answer your question the answer is yes I'm going to make the Tonka Bean Shave Soap again and I'm hoping it can be made before the 1st of the 2023. The Vanilla Safi will be made after the first of the year as the Vanilla Bean Infusion will take that long to be complete.
On the Tonka Bean Skin Food Splash. like I mentioned it may be just the Alcohol but contributing to the sting could be the Coumarin crystals. I just recently made another batch and used a Organic Coumarion liquid I got from Italy and I'm not getting any sting as all and in fact I just made two new Skin Food Splashes for the new releases and none of them has a sting that is worth mentioning it's so minor. I had also posted if anyone had one of the older Tonka Bean Skin Food Splashes from either the first or the 2nd batch and they are stinging folks please get in touch and they will be replaced with the new batch at no extra cost. You can also try adding a little distilled water to the ones you have and see if that makes any difference. If it's the Alcohol that's stinging diluting it will probably take that down a notch or two. If it's the Coumarion Crystals then water probably will make little to no difference in the sting. I'm sorry this happened but rest assured it won't happen again.
Great looking photo btw and thanks for sharing.

This morning I did the Tonka Bean F base with the v2 Dragonsbeard again with great pleasure. Nice combo, I imagine that AlphaFrank75 could add some orange and have a sort of coumarin orange creamsicle (aka vanilla). Maybe I should ask Frank to consider a take on TFS Bergomotto Neroli (they even did a test batch of added rose to orange creamsicle). US market would knot the scent more commonly as Don Marco. Anyways, Dragonsbeard, the Tonka Bean soap is working out well for my skin. Glad I got in on it

Hi Zac
Glad you’re enjoying the Tonka Bean shave soap. It can pretty much be mixed with just about any scent as it is a note used in so many Colognes, EDP’s and Perfumes even though most are synthetic. Bergamot is also very often used and is probably the most popular citrus note you’ll see used in perfumery.
I don’t know if you know I’m coming out with Bergmotto and if I didn’t already have the DFS Colonia which has a very noticeable Neroli note I probably would have added a tiny bit to the Bergamotto that’s coming out and when I was developing the Aroma blend I did try adding Neroli and it smelled great but it kinda stole the show from the Bergamot.
I can see folks mixing the Bergamotto with other scents and it and Tonka Bean will both be part of the
“ Mixologist Collection “ program which I will be putting into place in the near future.
I’ll post the details of the program as I get closer to releasing it.
Oh and sorry for not knowing but what is TFS Bergamotto Neroli.
Best regards

I actually experimented with Blood Orange and Vanilla Safi this summer. I was thinking that since Vanilla Safi is so fragrant on its own that 25% of VS with 75% BO would be good. But after trying 25% and 50% mixes, I needed 75% VS with 25% BO to have the vanilla note stand out. You're right about Dragonsbeard and Tonka Bean mix. It's really, really good and Dragonsbeard is one of my favorite scents and it was my introduction to ETHOS.
