Breath Frank, we all know you want to work and make soap as soon as you possibly can. Thanks for the update but don't kill yourself. Get it all laid out and ready first sounds like a solid plan !!

I think getting properly setup and organized is of upmost importance.  Makes your job easier and reduces mental stress.  I wished I lived closer to you as I'd be more than happy to lend a hand getting squared away.

That’s the original first base you have there. I came out with over 2 years ago. I can tell by the Label. Grainy it should not be as I’ve never had feedback saying that was an issue.. To soft yes but not grainy so this is a first.   

We got to get you to try the F Base.

UPDATE: 

ELEASE DATE SEPT 4th  for the Peppermint Shave Soap in the F Base. I had made this right  before the move to the new location but didn’t have the labels yet.  The Aroma is just pure Organic Japanese Peppermint Essential Oil.  Peppermint naturally contains about 25 to 30% Menthol so this shave soap is cooling & refreshing all by itself without any added cooling agents. The family of Peppermint ETHOS products is growing and along with the Skin Food Splash and Lotion seen in the photos we also will be adding the new Roll - Up Shave Soap Sticks, A Bath Soap, A Shampoo/ Body Wash and soon a matching Hair Conditioner and for those that like Face Serums that’s on its way.  One of my customers suggested a Foot Cream with winter coming and I have a great formula for one so a consideration. Any thoughts on other products you’d like to see in the future in the ETHOS product line up.? Feel free to leave a suggestion.

All I can say is it’s a straight French Lavender Essential oil at about 6% in the shave soap which is a little above average percentage in a soap base which obviously diminishes the scent as opposed to smelling the Essential oil right out of the bottle. Stronger scent strength in the Skin Food splash than in the soap. 

I have the Lavender Supreme in both the F Base and new S Base and opening both jars the S Base seems just a little stronger if that is any help.

The ultimate base for the Melange Di Agrume is the Tallow Shave Creme for scent strength alone. I can also make it much faster than a shave soap as far as getting it out for release.

The Sandalo Artistico is first in line as far as what's next. I wanted to try and get it out before the move but things didn't work out. The good news is I've been infusing the Aroma Blend with Mysore wood chips and it keeps getting stronger and richer. There is quite a bit of authentic Sandalwood in this new blend. Both East Indian and a bit of Mysore for a bit more creaminess.

I'll take either the cream or the F Base. Hell, I'd buy at least 2 of each provided there's no citronella smell in there (I HATE citronella) lol I'm already looking forward to the next release of the DFS Colonia.

I'm also excited to try the shave sticks, and extremely excited for SA.

I'm glad you were able to find a new place on such short notice. I'm guessing the guy that wanted 5 years probably panicked about the uncertainty of the real estate economy and wanted to lock you in, in case we saw a dip in the future. On one hand, I can sympathize with him. On the other, what a dick move to pull the rug out from under someone at the eleventh hour.

P.S. I checked my pucks of Fine's dupe of AoS Sandalwood and didn't pick up any metallic smell. Just the creaminess. I'll have to search for a puck of the original again because now I'm intrigued.

A great combo is the lotion and the soon to be released serums for combination skin. My testers are really excited about that combo.

Thanks Frank. I do actually like -- maybe it's just a sensation thing -- a bit of alcohol as a post-shave splash so I might go splash/lotion and try that. But, now, what is "combination skin"?  thanks.

I'm with you I like a little sting.. what really motivated me to include a Non Alcohol post shave product is I have a lot of customers out of the country that can't be shipped Alcohol and there are some US customers that don't like Alcohol. I went a little overboard on the skin beneficial ingredients in the lotion so it is a really good product to use or as I have done mix with the Alcohol splash on my face.

The reference to " Combination Skin "  is basically the new Oil based serums I developed for normal to dry skin or normal to oily skin so this new serum will work on most types of skin.  So most collections like the new Sandalo Artistico will have all 4 products in it. I'll post them below



I have some highly specialized serums, lotions and creams  coming out down the line which I will get into explaining when we are closer to releasing them.

Taking some of the problems of the move to the new location, a bit of a health issue I’m having ( back problems) and getting things ready to actually make the soap id say it will be made by next weekend and then it’s about a week or so after that to get it to my dealers and up on the website for the release. 

If things go quicker which it could ill definitely post an update.

It’s absolutely fantastic! The soap is fragrant but not at all overpowering. The lavender scent is very natural, genuine and unadulterated. I think it’s bar none the best lavender scented shave soap on the market. You’ll love it!
