Mass production creams yes, soft soaps and croaps yes but not a real cream which I told him it is since it’s homogenized as it reduces particle size besides other benefits I won’t bore you with but will explain on the website. So guys his he right? I’m pretty sure there are tallow cremes that have been produced by big companies but that’s all I’ve got after racking my brain on the subject. Maybe there are some soap historians on here like Join @churchillafemme who would shed a little light on Jasons statement. I’m mostly curious more than anything.

Great shaves all.

I'm not an expert, but I have tried a lot of soaps and creams. Vito's is the only cream with tallow of which I am aware.

Thank you John!

I figured if anyone would know you would. Is Vito’s a artisan brand or mass production product? Don’t know much about it other than hearing it mentioned in SOTD on another forum.

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...
Northeast, USA
Earlier today I brought out a razor that I hadn’t shaved with in a while, the Occams SS DE. I also brought out the Dragonsbeard V2 Ethos soap & splash. Robust, masculine and yet a very smooth scent. Performance is equal to this gorgeous scent and even perhaps better. As an artisanal soap and overall product line, there are just a handful that I’d consider it in its class. The soap is excellent at every level but, in post shave is where this product truly elevates itself from that small handful of great shave soaps. As most know it has been well documented in this thread and across plenty of forums & social media sites on the post shave performance that Ethos soaps provide. No need to repeat the details. Just know this from soup to nuts this is the best performing shave soap my mug has ever experienced. I encourage shavers both new and old to experience this product and give it a go for a few shaves. It will make a believer out of you as it did to me. Awesome stuff, really.

Hello my brother!

Thank you for the encouraging words. Means a lot coming from you. So you haven’t tried the V3 F Base yet? It’s been sold out for a while but I’m gonna send you a sample from my own jar my friend as I’d like to get your experienced feedback on V2 vs V3 .

Stay strong my friend!

UPDATE:

A call out to the members that requested me to do a duplicate of the AOS/Fine Absolut Sandalwood scent.  I’ve got the first and maybe final sample made and before I go making a whole batch of the shave soap I’d like to get a short pass around going with this 2 oz sample.
I just put the aroma blend in my Vegan Creme base as it’s easy to do. So my thoughts are to those that are involved is take a good whiff of the aroma blend and use it once and move it on to the next person on the list. As it’s all about approving and finalizing the aroma blend.

I’d like to start this with TommyCarioca and I’ll ship it to him and then he can ship it to the next person on the list.

Please scoop it ( I’ll include some )

Also please copy and paste this list and add your name. I’m thinking 4 to 6 members outta do it.

1. TommyCarioca
2.
3.
4.

Thanks guys for your participation.
