Well I’d like to thank everyone who helped me make up my mind on what scent to launch out my new Tallow based Shave Creme.

The Blood Orange was the clear winner.  I also had some texts that where all for that choice as well. I’m not adding any other aroma ingredients to it as sometimes I find when you get a special essential oil it’s best to enjoy it as is and it’s exactly the way I feel about this Blood Orange from Italy. An that’s why it’s going in the Italia Collection. 

My graphic designer and myself had a zoom meeting yesterday and this is what we came up with. Hope you like it. Now all I have to do is order the labels and it will be ready for release. Just trying to figure out if I should offer it in only 4.5 oz size or both the 4.5 and 7.5 oz sizes. Any feedback on that would be appreciated. 

Also I was talking to my one vendor Jason from The Razor Company and I mentioned it would be available soon and brought up something and honestly I never thought about it but he said he doesn’t know of a artisan made tallow based Creme and said I’ve had 100’s of soaps and creams come through my hands. Mass production creams yes, soft soaps and croaps yes but not a real cream which I told him it is since it’s homogenized as it reduces particle size besides other benefits I won’t bore you with but will explain on the website. So guys his he right? I’m pretty sure there are tallow cremes that have been produced by big companies but that’s all I’ve got after racking my brain on the subject. Maybe there are some soap historians on here like Join @churchillafemme who would shed a little light on Jasons statement. I’m mostly curious more than anything. 

Anyway here’s the Top label we came up with.

Can’t wait to try it. 

-Only shave cream that I believe contains tallow is Vitos shave cream (that I know of). Had a similar vibe to Proraso green.

-I recently picked up Chill Greenfresh & Nuage de Citron, and Wow I was blown away. Absolutely had wonderful  Shaves with Ethos so far, definitely top tier soap. Thanks for adding quality ingredients in your soaps Frank. Keep up the good work!

Question: Will Ethos Blood Orange Shave Cream also have Ethos "companion products" in Blood Orange scent (Skin Food Splash and EDP/ EDT)?

IMHO, all of the Ethos products are the best "skin enhancing" shave and bath products I have ever used.  I have used hundreds of Body Wash products
in the last 50 years, and the Ethos body wash is the best I have ever experienced.  Even better than Badedas and Algemarin from Germany and Shisheido
from Japan.  Thank you Frank.

Do it in 7,5; 7,5 IS the signature ETHOS jar

in the last 50 years, and the Ethos body wash is the best I have ever experienced.  Even better than Badedas and Algemarin from Germany and Shisheido

I suppose Frank should release also skin care serums (Replenish and Remede) in Blood Orange scent.
Trying a lot of serums (oil based or water based) in the market I can say that ETHOS is the best one.

Hello Ashat. Thank you for the kind words.  Today we did the labels for the Skin Food Splash, EDT and the new Non Alcohol Skin Food Lotion for the Blood Orange. I’m going to add the Essential oil in the drop down menu as a custom option in the Serums.  

All the serums start out Unscented. 

In fact I’m changing all the serum labels and I’ll post up the two options I’m going back and forth on so maybe all you guys can give me your opinions.

Ok so I’ve been waiting on these and they finally came in last night. So I’ll have them up on the website probably early next week.  

The Ultra Violet Black Jar that was an upgrade with both the Dragonsbeard Shave Soap and Shave Creme along with this beautiful Frosted Glass Jar I got from Italy are both going to be available as upgrades in the Custom Collection.  So if you’d like your Shave Soap or Creme in one of them instead of the 7.5 oz plastic jar I currently use, you can add it to your cart. Glass is a great environment for naturals in case anyone didn’t know. 

I put the 7.5 oz plastic jar I’m using in the photos for comparison reasons and as you can see the Frosted Glass jar is a bit taller than the plastic one and that’s because of the thick footing on this glass jar. Feels so substantial in the hand. I wish I could use these for all my Shave Soaps but that’s just not an option right now.  My photos don’t do these jars justice.
