UPDATE:
So I kind of need a little input from my friends/customers/members on here as I’m making a couple of new Shave Cremes and one is going to be the Vegan Creme base that’s already been released in a couple of scents and the other is going to be my new Tallow based Creme ( again not a croap) and I’m torn between two Citrus base aroma blends, Bergamotto and Blood Orange.
Some may ask why creams and I’ve come to the conclusion that when using citrus essential oils and not many or any other supporting middle and base notes and you want to smell the citrus oils first and foremost the heat of shaving soaps diminishes the scent strength significantly as opposed to the Shave Cream base where I can put them in at room temperature, therefore not loosing anything.
So the Bergamotto is an Aroma Blend of a few different aroma ingredients I will post up when closer to release but Bergamotto is mostly all about Bergamot.
The Blood Orange I’ve recently got is from my Italian supplier and it is amazing as far as Blood Oranges go and I’ve smelled my share of many from various suppliers. Reason is the grower in Italy harvests the Blood Oranges when they are at their peak ripeness and distills then immediately and it goes right to my supplier so it’s so fresh and delicious smelling I don’t want to blend it with anything else.
So the reason I’m going back and forth on this one is I only want to release one of the two Aromas now and the other in the spring and the one I’ll release next is in the new Tallow based Creme as this completes my mission of having 4 bases 2 Shave soap bases S and F and 2 Creme bases Vegan VC and C for the Tallow Creme as they will be marked on the side label.
So let’s vote which aroma goes in the new Tallow based Creme.
A. Bergamotto
B. Blood Orange
Also a side note for those that have asked.
The next 2 F Based Shave soaps to be released will be in this order. Mandarino Fumo and then my interpretation of the Vintage AOS Sandalwood/Fine Santal Absolut..
I’ll probably end up offering both of these in one Creme base or the other.
So let’s stay on topic on the votes for the 2 scents..
Great shaves!

Having tried BM nordst last week which is a great orange scent I will say I found it is really boring alone IMO. Too much like candy without any other complexity, or richness. All my opinion I know many who value a nice one note , beautiful scent
Thanks for the vote and input and I’d agree with you 100% if it was a sweet Orange as I had a Shave that was a sweet Orange but not candy like as that would be a no for me. Anyway it was nice but I found myself not using the matching aftershave as I didn’t want to smell like orange juice lol
This Blood orange is not at all like a sweet Orange. It’s so freaking fresh I detect an almost Ruby Red Grapefruit tartness in it.
Anyway anyway another vote for Bergamotto.
Thanks guys.

Blood Orange..
There are plenty of Bergamot creams and soaps out there already…
But…no one has really done a spectacular orange…let alone a Blood Orange…
P.S. I personally found the B&M Nordost way way too smoky…like orange juice with Liquid Smoke…almost sickening…sold it immediately.
