Beautiful smelling and performing lather - a custom blend Frank created that is not too sweet and captures the beauty of the honeysuckle blossom. More often all previous versions of this flower are obviously synthetic or are way too heavy and 'perfumy'. This version is natural and it is 'real' suckle. It is so nice and instantly throws me back to Kentucky and the large suckle bushes under my window as a boy. I was lucky to score the edc as well!

Thanks Frank and we are all waiting on your AOS Sandalwood /Fine Santal version. And keep cranking the F base out. Face latherers out here are loving it.

Thank you Tommy for the encouraging words. I'm glad you liked the Honeysuckle Shave soap and EDP. It is a very interesting floral that I not only like but I'm thinking of using in a future Spring aroma blend.

I'm working on the Santal my friend and I think your going to be happy with the outcome.

Performance stellar as usual. The vanilla note is not overpowering or sugary. IMHO it is not a sweet gourmand nor a resinous vanilla. It is best said as 'au naturale' - scent strength is 5 out of 10. For years I have been using Guerlain's Spirituseue Double Vanille Eau de Parfum at night in the winter - and have not found a soap worthy of its grandeur to pair with for shaving. I have that soap now. Frank isn't afraid to fill the jar - the lid barely screws on it is so packed in there. Love the glass containers. Ethos Success and tabac tallow this weekend.

WOW Tommy! That is a great photo shot there my friend and they brush is a beauty. I need to find a yellow brush. Glad you like the Vanilla Safi. It is one project that although it took a long time to come to life it was worth it as it proved that it could be done and I'm hoping my old friend up there in the hereafter is looking down an smiling as it was his idea to make a pure Vanilla Soap. I tend to fill my jars a little over what the marked oz say on the label. Glad you noticed.

Best regards and hope you have a awesome weekend!

Great Shaves!

Frank

Great fragrance, great performance, great face feel!

OH WOW! I gotta say you take the best lather shots out there! I need to use one of them on my website. I mean you make it look like a frozen custard I get that's all swirled perfectly by a machine. Don't know how you do it and believe me I've tried. I get the base part right but can't get the tip right. Mine is all crocked! LOL

Thank you sir for the kind words and for sharing this awesome lather shot.

Awesome photo Dave! I haven’t shaved with a 1914 in about 5 years! I had a darn good collection of vintage Gem blade razors. Brings back some good shaving memories.

Thanks for sharing my friend!
