Frank I finally used up all the success sample.

so far though I had only used the success essential oil that mixes with the soap,
today I used the success splash sample for the first time.

And I realized that the scent from the success splash sample is damn more fantastic than the soap with success oil I had used.

As soon as I started to go to work, I felt as if I were an executive man with this scent.

Let me place an order for Success next time but with customizing the scent, made with the lighter scent than with the original one.

Just amazing my friend Frank. Really.

Thank you Brian
I can easily lower the percentage of the scent. No problem

Thanks for the report.

Tommy,  the creaminess in the Lemon is mostly because of the Tonka Bean & Sandalwood and they really come out even more on the dry down in the Skin Food Splash. A soap base will always eat up some of the scent especially if their all naturals in the Aroma Blend and more so with citrus EO’s.

Thanks my friend for the kind words!

Great shaves!

UPDATE:  The Nuage de Citron and the Fresco Skin Food Splashes are live on the website. I promised to announce it on here as I had some messages from customers that were waiting so they could get the set of Shave soap  & matching Skin Food Splash. Photos from the website.

Thank you!

Ethos Grooming Honeysuckle [custom blend]

Beautiful smelling and performing lather - a custom blend Frank created that is not too sweet and captures the beauty of the honeysuckle blossom. More often all previous versions of this flower are obviously synthetic or are way too heavy and 'perfumy'. This version is natural and it is 'real' suckle. It is so nice and instantly throws me back to Kentucky and the large suckle bushes under my window as a boy. I was lucky to score the edc as well!

Thanks Frank and we are all waiting on your AOS Sandalwood /Fine Santal version. And keep cranking the F base out. Face latherers out here are loving it.

Ethos Grooming Vanilla Safi

Performance stellar as usual. The vanilla note is not overpowering or sugary. IMHO it is not a sweet gourmand nor a resinous vanilla. It is best said as 'au naturale' - scent strength is 5 out of 10. For years I have been using Guerlain's Spirituseue Double Vanille Eau de Parfum at night in the winter - and have not found a soap worthy of its grandeur to pair with for shaving. I have that soap now. Frank isn't afraid to fill the jar - the lid barely screws on it is so packed in there. Love the glass containers. Ethos Success and tabac tallow this weekend.

Razor: Carbon Shaving Co CX-316L ++Plate
Blade: Feather
Brush: Guile (Synthetic)
Pre-shave: Barber501 Shaving Booster
Soap: ETHOS Grooming Essentials Pure Clean
After-shave: ETHOS Grooming Essentials Pure Clean

As I always say, Pure Clean is really clean.

I recommend everybody to experience this soap because if you purchase this and add some aroma blend oil, you can put oil when you lather this soap.
Then it becomes a specific soap.

It is very amazing that Pure Clean can be any kinds of ETHOS soap.

I love this idea and the performance of this soap.

Creamy lather, slickness, protection, residual slickness and etc, all of which I am highly satisfied with, give me relaxing time.

As Frank mentioned, his soap is also very good at rinsing. That's why I started to have acnes gone using ETHOS soap.

ETHOS gets me not to try using another brands as his products are damn fantastic.

I asked him if he could put tonka bean butter in my potential customized soap with Success scent for creamy lather but I don't think I will need the butter because I can already make creamy lather Smile

I am testing two different edges on my straight razors…one with an edge from a Brick of a Kiita, and one from a Shobudani.  I thought to myself, “I should use the same soap for the next three shaves!”  I came up with using Ethos Succes!

Great fragrance, great performance, great face feel!
