Looking forward to the humidor collection Frank, and I am excited that you mentioned a Fougere you are working on! I am curious to see what the new bases will be like.

I’ve just started to use the Vanilla Safi which has improved on your excellent prior Ethos soaps. The Safi is a premium product within a top tier premium line which is very impressive. And you are already looking to bring out more WOW

The premium M base was something I wanted to try and based on the feedback I’m getting I think I may just make it my normal M base moving forward. I think the differences are, the base is a bit slicker,  because of the increased percentage of both the EOS Complex and Hyaluronic acid and sone new oils and butters the post shave seems kicked up a notch or two.
Dragonsbeard What will the first soaps with the Premium or modified M base after Safi? I think this tweak is just what you needed…Makes your great soap even greater..

I can't wait for your sandalwood soap. It's quite difficult to source a good Mysore Sandalwood oil. The government of Karnataka is the only one authorized to sell the Mysore saldalwood oil however recently the quality is going down and I have heard that they blend in some synthetics. Even if you compare their famous Millenium soap, the one they produced till 2019 (the yellow box) is much better than the new formula (the black box). My best sandalwood oil comes from Ali Brothers Perfumers from Kannauj. It's not an aged sandalwood but it's terpentine free and it's a proper Mysore sandalwood oil with the typical milkiness and lasts for 8-9 hours easily on the skin. I think I paid 2500 rupees for a tola (12 ml.). I like it better than the one from ML Ramnarain which is also fantastic. Those two names are the standard in Kannauj. I am about to get some attars from Mohd. Ayub from Delhi (also a very reputable vendor) next week and will be able to compare.
The aged Mysore sandalwood oil is very expensive and difficult to find. Back in the 50ties when India established commercial relations with the USSR they gave to the Soviets tons of quality Sandalwood oil. Till now you can sometimes find a Russian vendor selling aged sandalwood oil and it's fantastic. Areej le Doré is using it for his attars (also very expensive).

The Mandarino Fumo will be out first as it will be in the new F base. The Fougere will be a month or so out as it’s going in the Vegan Cream base.

I’ll keep updating on all the upcoming releases.

Thank you!

The first will be coming out in the late Summer and I’ll post it up as soon as the Aroma blend has been finalized but the Succes has already been made and is curing right now. So Succes and the new batch of the Greenfresh both have the firmer M base. The Vanilla Safi was the first Premium base I made.

Hope that explains things my friend!

Ah a man that knows about Mysore Sandalwood.

I have 3 bottles of Vintage Mysore of which two were given to me by a friend in India and one I bought. I open them just to take a sniff because as a young man Mysore was plentiful and easy to find. Warm and creamy and and as you said milky. The current Mysore I’ve gotten have been from two sources. A friend of mine who’s friends with a supplier there but honestly the best I’ve gotten and the closet to the Vintage is from a supplier in Italy who’s carries some of the most hard to get essential oils and absolutes. In fact I have some coming in an order I just placed for some exotic aroma ingredients that I can’t find in the US.

I’d love to find a supplier in Russia like you mentioned who has a good amount of the vintage Mysore. Most Vintage I’ve found is in very small amounts.

Problem I see is there are so many scammers claiming they have Mysore Sandalwood oil and it’s not real. Many are other types like New Caledonia, Australian and East Indian but even those they step on them as there mixing it with either synthetics, Amyris or their diluting it with a carrier oil. I’ve gotten smart when ordering certain essential oils. I always order samples first.

Thanks for the information I’m going to pursue trying to find a Russian supplier.

Best regards

Hi Dan

I hate to disappoint you but the Melange Di Agrume will only be available in the new F base and soon the Vegan Cream base. I lost a lot of the aroma in the M base due to the process of making the soap. That’s why I had to include the pure Aroma Blend with the soap because it was so weak. I will say I may put it out in the future as I’m experimenting with a new method to scent the M base when using weak top note aroma blends like the citrus oil blends.

Hello sir

I know I’ve been a bit elusive in regards to the EOS Complex as it is a proprietary blend that I have a exclusive agreement on with the ingredient company that makes it for me.

There’s a long story behind the Complex and the development of the Complex an I plan on doing a detailed write up on it on my website in the near future.

Your right the Complex is made up of 36 ingredients all of which all of them are skin beneficial ingredients. Most of which have had studies done on them.

BTW the EOS Stands for Earth Ocean Science which is a reflection of what’s in the Complex. There are many ingredients by themselves that you’d be familiar with like Aloe Vera, Amino acids and Hyaluronic acid for example.

Look for the write up on the website in the near future on the story of the EOS Complex.

So good question!

So, can I be sure that the ingredients it contains are all natural? I was honestly a little scared since today I made a purchase of 3 soaps on your page without knowing what exactly the EOS complex was haha
