To my nose, it's a combination of the lemongrass and cucumber.  I don't get much of the spearmint scent on its own, but I suspect it's in the combo.  TBH, I was hoping for more cucumber in the mix.

Quick question for the folks who use Greenfresh regularly - how would you describe the scent?  Is it cucumber forward, or more minty?  I know scents can be tricky to describe, but any help is appreciated!

To me it’s a quite cucumber-focused scent from beginning to end. Honestly, I don’t get much more than just cucumber. Your nose may disagree with me though..

I think that it depends on which Greenfresh product you have. To me I get more Lemongrass off the Shave Soap than in the Skin Food Splash where the Cucumber takes the lead with the Coolness of the Spearmint making its presence known. Although the Lemongrass is very subtle in the background it’s the true anchor in this blend. Without it in the aroma blend it is much different as that’s all we use in the CBD balm we make. Is the Cucumber and Spearmint. In the EDP the blend is probably the most balanced of any of the products. Of course this is my nose report and opinon  Of course everyone’s nose is different. Example I have a customer who’s in Laos who gets Lemongrass as the leading note in both the Shave soap and Skin Food Splash.
I just made a triple batch of the Greenfresh and I think the shave soap is better balanced than the first batch.

Of course a customer can request one of the 3 aroma ingredients to be increased in either the Skin Food Splash or the EDP

My perspective having gone through a couple soap jars of GreenFresh:

when first opened, the scent is predominantly and almost exclusively cucumber that dominates throughout the shave from lathering to rinse. However, as the soap in the jar is used, a very heavy scent of lemongrass is revealed, again making its presence known from lathering through rinse.

After the first jar, have made it a point to mix the soap immediately upon opening (using a spatula) to get the full impact of the much loved lemongrass and subtlety of the mint from first shave to last.

Personally, it's more than just the sum of it's parts. A great balance to make an amazing scent, especially as the warm weather creeps in. So far it's my favorite of Franks offerings. I'd be surprised if it didn't end up being his top seller. It's sooo good.

Notice he said Triple batch, lol.

Greenfresh is just something that no other soap maker comes close to in terms of its unique scent. Fell in love at first sniff and I’m just head over heels with Greenfresh. All the scents that Ethos produces are really just fantastic but, this one is unique and to me this is that signature scent that represents what Ethos Grooming is all about to me. It’s an all year round and any time of day scent that exudes clean & fresh from surfer dude, Exec. Professional to the classiest of Gentlemen. It covers the spectrum from 18 to 88 years of age and it will be a staple and hopefully for many, many more years to come in my shave den. It’s not going to be everyone’s favorite but, nothing can be a universal fit for all. And seriously, who doesn’t want to smell clean & fresh and have fantastic feeling skin? NO BRAINER.....

I just need to pick up the edp. And yes, Colonia too.

Thanks my friend and I’ve got a few testers coming your way with higher levels of EOS Complex and your feedback is always appreciated as I know you have ultra sensitive skin.

Thank you Gus for the encouraging words and as always support. You’ve got a Greenfresh EDP coming your way my friend. You were the one that came up with the idea of an EDP in the scent and if you remember correctly I wasn’t sure I could make it work but it did and easier than I thought it would be so this ones on me my friend and don’t try to pull any shenanigans my friend like the last time you ordered! Lol

BTW love that Toggle. Makes me want to pull mine out as it’s been a while since I used it and it’s definitely a favorite in my den.

Rock on brother!

UPDATE:
New Healing serum  Asclepius, named after the Greek God of healing is about a week away or less from being available on the ETHOS Grooming Essentials website. 100% national beneficial oils like Pure organic Hemp seed oil we distilled ourselves. Pumpkin seed oil, Pomegranate,, Grapeseed, Red Raspberry seed and others along with full spectrum Mothers Liquor. A sweet rare Isolate that we also distill at the CBD facilities I work closely with developing products for. Lifter Terpene is also blended into the serum that adds a grape line herbaceous note. For the purest who want a Cannabis scent it comes Unscented but there will be a drop down menu with some aroma options and also a special sore muscle blend I put together that is warming when rubbing it in but also creates a cooling aura that will open up your sinuous. Some of the aromas offered will completely cover up the Cannabis aroma while others will compliment the herbaceous base note. This healing serum will help with many skin issues including irritation. Read more about it and it’s benefits once it’s up on the website.

A free sample can be requested when ordering any ETHOS shave soap, Skin Food Splash, EDP or any other serum. The samples will only come Unscented.

Great shaves all

Which aromas offered will completely cover up the Cannabis aroma? And how is this serum best used…before or after splashes and other post shave products…to a moist or dry face..etc?
