Yes. I do get that. I'm sorry but my language of scents is pretty basic but yes, now that you've pointed it out, I definitely get neroli as a kind of top note (did I get that right? I think so)

Sometimes you have to really close your eyes and take in the scent from a distance and then start bringing it in towards your nose and try to pick out the top notes before moving on further in the olfactory journey a fragrance can take you on.

I get Neroli and Bergamot almost simultaneously with the Neroli slightly in the lead with the Sicilian Lemon next and then the Mandarin gives you a brief whiff before the Rosemary leads you into the middle nots.

Aromas are one of my addictions, passions and hobbies and at times I wish I could make 20 a week lol

[Image: K4GsX8m.jpg]Used the DFS collab and it’s my current favorite scent. As expected great experience with Ethos and performance with top notch cushion, slickness, and post shave feel. Love the scent and so does my wife.

It is lemon colonia scent. All citrus elements smell very naturally.

I now have a few shaves in with the new DFS ETHOS Soap and skin food and wanted to post my impressions
1 Performance This is an ETHOS soap with ease of lather, wonderful slickness, very good cushion
2 Scent I very much enjoyed the citrus forward scent, reminds me of Aqua De Parma, with a little Tom Ford Colonia scent thrown in, yet different then both.
3 Cost If you bought the 7.5 oz tub it is $6 an oz. I know if you just go by cost per oz this is high. For me I factor in cost per shave, as I use about half the amount of soap per shave as I do with many of the Artisan soaps I have or have used and about 1/3 the amount of soap when comparing it to some of the cheaper brands. I also consider the fact that many of the essential oils do not trigger my Asthma like some of the Cheaper soaps made with synthetic scents. Finally the ETHOS soaps leave my skin feeling clean and soft. Many of the soaps leave my skin feeling oily or waxy. You can even see this when you clean out your brush and razor as the excess rinses easily and cleanly.
4 Post Shave Serum. I’m starting to get up in age and am loosing that Nice elasticity in my skin that we take for granted when we are young and I find using the Ethos gives my skin that soft yet elastic feel without leaving it oily or waxy.
As you can tell I am a fan and enjoy using ETHOS
