That is some brush there

Thanks Dan.  The brush is from Bob Quinn at Elite Razor.  That one is the first brush I ever got from Bob, and it is a pleasure to use in every way.  The knot is a 26mm Manchurian White fan, and the handle is fashioned from a piece of Arizona Jade (aka Jadeite, mined in Arizona).  I've since gotten two other brushes from Bob, both fashioned from Amboyna Burl wood, and both with Manchurian White knots.  Bob's knots work really well for me, and I doubt it will surprise you that I think each is set in a beautiful handle.  I'd post pics of the others, but I feel like I'm already pushing the limits of what belongs in this thread.

I’ve got a Elite White Manchurian  and I also like the knot a lot I just wish the loft was a little higher on mine. He makes sone beautiful handles IMO. Glad you shared it.

As far as the loft goes, I would certainly agree that getting a knot set spot on from a vendor is tough.  I sometimes think about setting my own knots for that very reason - using silicone and some spacers so I can dial it in.  Anyway, I went the other route with Bob - the easy one - and it worked well for me.

As for the two other brushes, this is the Elite Razor 26mm Amboyna Burl ...



... and this is the 24mm one ...



As I mentioned in the other post, they both have Manchurian White knots.  But even allowing for lighting differences, you can see that they do not look alike - that each one is unique.  Of course, that's the way it is with wood, and I would not want them the same anyway.

Great looking brushes and I’m thinking of trying to set a knot to but I’ll try it on a much less expensive brush for the first time. Lol

Definitely! A cheap handle and cheap knot, and maybe a gradual rise in the cost of materials, rather than any big leap.

Really nice brushes!  And a mention of a Bob Quinn Elite stone handle brush?  Got two.  Love their feel in the hand, which is just fabulous.  Here they are:  the one on the right it is Azurite (with Malachite) with a White Manchurian knot and the one on the left is Tourmaline Quartz with the High Mountain White. BTW, my pic was taken on the run, so this is just a hint of how they really look -- which is great.
