Rooney 3/2 Faux Horn Finest (24/54)
Ethos Succe`s shaving soft soap
Personna BBS-0
Gillette Super Stainless 'Spoiler' (12)
Ethos Succe`s splash
Ethos Succe`s EdP (sample)

The Ethos Succe`s software is great. It's really a very thick cream. The lather is wonderful, and the scent has rapidly become a favorite (and one of my wife's favorites).

I dig that scent too, John.

The brush exploded with lather and in no time I had that shiny protective lather I am used to. Had enough for a 3 pass shave and a face wash. What impressed me the most was the great scent, it is so clean and refreshing. Used my Yates Hybrid plate with a new Perma Sharp and got a fabulous 3 pass shave. Followed up with Lemon Thayers then Greenfresh post shave serum to finish off this great shave. The peppermint had more “Chill” but the Greenfresh is now 2nd only to my Lavender.

Another awesome photo Mark! So the Greenfresh is up there with the Lavender Supreme. I knew you’d like that one. I used the Greenfresh scent in the Replenish 2% Hyaluronic acid serum almost the whole summer because it’s so refreshing. I’m thinking I might make a small bottle of the Spearmint essential oil as an option if someone wants to step up the coolness without messing up the scent. I’ve played with that and it only takes a drop or two. Thoughts?

An that red maple is a beauty!

Razor: Yates H Plate/ WCS Handle
Blade: Wizamet (1)
Brush: Dragonsbeard Synthetic
Soap: Dragonsbeard V2
AS: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS: Dragonsbeard SFS

Had an amazing shave today with an amazing setup. Dragonsbeard all around except the razor...........................Frank...................are you coming out with a razor in collaboration with Yates ?!?! I'd be in !!!!!!  Big Grin

The soap (more a croap/cream consistency) was V2 of Dragonsbeard and took a small amount to put n the SS Bowl
[Image: QlCNeiy.jpg]

I got to whipping and slowly adding water till I got a smooth and silky lather that felt great on the skin and smelled even BETTER !! 3 passes had me slick skinned but a few touch ups were done by really stretching the skin in a couple spots after adding some water to the face and man the residual slickness with just water popped and was crazy!

After the shave was done I played with what was left in the bowl and added slowly more water while whipping it more. I thought I was already at the limit but was surprised that it didn't break the soap and I actually could have taken it further as seen in the photo below which was after the 3 pass shave and what was left from the tiny amount I scooped. Could have easily done another 3 to 4 pass shave or more. GREAT soap Frank !

Dave in KY Thanks for the encouraging words Dave and your a better man than I am as it seems like you dialed in the soap better than I did on my first try. I’m going to wait for more reviews and peoples opinions but I’m actually thinking of maybe making a couple of other scents with this base.

Thanks my friend!

But also amazingly healing to damaged skin. With breathing, the scent has changed from overwhelmingly cucumber to the lemongrass foreward Frank has suggested.

ETHOS Mail Call today! I had to quickly decide what was going to be used right away. I wanted to save Dragonsbeard V2 for tomorrow for my Sunday shave before church because I have the EdP. After all the great things I have heard about Greenfresh I decided to use that one today and I’ll save Peppermint for Monday.
Greenfresh is an amazing scent. I was thinking of using it for night shaves like I do my Lavender Supreme, but that would be a disservice to this soap. It smells very fresh and clean, and the slight cooling agent makes you feel more refreshed than cool. This is a winner for sure, great job Frank! I would like to see this scent in a shampoo or body wash/soap too.
The First Lather is also incredible. This was my first use, but I do like it more than PAA’s Cube 2.0. I used it on my ATG pass like Frank suggested and it was the first time I didn’t feel any tugging and zero irritation!
Lastly, the Remede sample for sensitive skin was also nice. I have only used one other post-shave oil and the other oil made my skin feel tacky and greasy. This oil absorbed very quickly and I did not have any greasy feeling. Combined with the SFS and Replenish and I have gotten the best post-shave feeling of any product I have used so far. Great job on all of your products Frank!
