Thanks Dan and I’m glad to be a part of the pass around for the H&S Copper razor.

I’m glad the Greenfresh works. well for you. You got to play with the lathering on the Dragonsbeard V2 as it pretty much a cream. Load a half an Almond size dollop of it in a bowl and add a little water at a time and tell me how that goes for you. The Camel Hump Fat give it a very different unique lather when done right.

Almost always bowl lather.  Was using a B3 knot which is a bit scritchy (sometimes being less than optimum whipping up softer soaps and cremes) but please don't misconstrue the post to imply the Dragonsbeard V2 was anything less than an outstanding shave.  It was better than Succes which was to my mind best soap ever used before trying the GreenFresh and DB V2.  Will try a shave tomorrow using a softer knot.  Bottom line is your soaps were not only the best for sensative skin and easily irritated neck but now getting even better with updates and different formulations being trialed.  That is what I love about passarounds, it exposes new products that otherwise one might be tempted to overlook.

Apologies for not posting photos; been busy with ill wife and Coco cancer/health issues

ETHOS has begun using new jars that I had the opportunity to compare to the previous type during the shipment of soaps destined for the new H&S P076 Copper DC passaround.  A couple of things of note:

1, the new jars are noticeably larger than the original ETHOS soap containers (+7,1% gained through height)

2, the new jars are noticeably higher quality with more clarity and heft

3, the new jars are more robust in vulnerable areas being more resistant to breakage, particularly the wall and base thickness

Jar Wall Thickness:   Original Jar - 1,5mm   New Jar - 2,5mm
Jar Base Thickness:   Original Jar - 4,5mm   New Jar - 7,5mm
Jar Capacity:            Original Jar - 7,0oz     New Jar - 7,5oz
All measure with Mitutoyo 500-763 Electronic Calipres

Frank sourced the jars from the same vendor Martin de Candre uses in the hopes of eliminating cracking issues while pouring hot soaps and when mishandled by shippers.  Undoubtedly, these jars will virtually eliminate future issues; my perspective is it delivers a small but worthwhile benefit to end users’ daily interface with ETHOS soap.

Thank you DanLaw for taking the time to post up the detailed post on my new jars. I never thought of breaking it down and comparing the old and new jars but you bring up some good points as to me there is a world of difference between the two jars in both quality, strength and just feel in hand as the new jar feels so much more substantial and another thanks to the folks at MDC for sharing their supplier. It is without a doubt the best quality plastic I've ever handled and I've handles a lot throughout the years in the cosmetic industry.

I'm also honored to be involved as a sponsor in the H&S Copper pass around. Sure is a beauty and I can't wait to try it.

UPDATE: Hello DFS

I wanted to reach out to everyone who has ordered any of the new releases including the Dragonsbeard, Greenfresh and Peppermint Collection products. Due to an
overwhelming amount of orders I've gotten since releasing the products I'm asking for your patience as I'm working from early morning to as late as I can and still get to the post office with filled orders so they can go out to all ETHOS customers each day. I'll be shipping today, and then again on Friday and on Saturday morning and then again on Monday. Based on the number of orders that have come in I should be able to get all of them out by the end of the day on Monday. Some orders I have to put on hold for Monday as special or custom products were ordered that have to be made which I will do in the labs over the weekend. I take orders and fill them in the order they come in starting with the first to the last. So once again because of the lack of a website orders take much longer to process than normal due to back and forth emails and messages etc.

Please understand that I work 3 jobs.

So I very much appreciate your patience and also all your support!

Kind regards

Frank

Ethos Succe`s shaving soft soap
Personna BBS-0
Gillette Super Stainless 'Spoiler' (12)
Ethos Succe`s splash
Ethos Succe`s EdP (sample)

The Ethos Succe`s software is great. It's really a very thick cream. The lather is wonderful, and the scent has rapidly become a favorite (and one of my wife's favorites).

I’ve gotten messages asking if the 4 different formulas of Remede Revitalizing serum can be used as a pre shave or beard oil and the answer is a definite yes! These 4 specialized face serum formulas where each developed for different skin types. Normal, Dry, Sensitive and Oily and they are all made with all natural and organic oils that are skin beneficial and in many cases pricy so I’d say a rather expensive pre shave or beard oil but they can be used if you choose to. Remember when using these serums on your face or hair they are very concentrated so a little goes a long ways! So start out with less and add more if needed.

A little note. These 4 formulas start out unscented but can be customized using essential oil aroma blends.

Hope this answers your questions!

Shaved again today using Frank's advice to hydrate incrementally.  Getting the hydration right is critical for this soap but not difficult to find the sweet spot.  The resultant lather developed a beautiful off white sheen that maintained the cushioning and postshave that had earned so much praise during my first shave while delivering outstanding residual slickness.  Not one for scent but the harmonious complexity is an olfaction treat for the senses as each layer is revealed during relatherings.  The V2 DragonsBeard is simply fantastic.

So for tonight’s shave I pulled out the Greenfresh from the Chill collection. Loaded my KnotHead brush works handle ( w/ a Mozingo ZT3 knot ) and face lathered. The brush exploded with lather and in no time I had that shiny protective lather I am used to. Had enough for a 3 pass shave and a face wash. What impressed me the most was the great scent, it is so clean and refreshing. Used my Yates Hybrid plate with a new Perma Sharp and got a fabulous 3 pass shave. Followed up with Lemon Thayers then Greenfresh post shave serum to finish off this great shave. The peppermint had more “Chill” but the Greenfresh is now 2nd only to my Lavender.
