Please clarify: is this a full blown ETHOS soap fully equal in quality to the other noncollaboration ETHOS soaps: Clean, Succes, Lavender Supreme & Melange d’Agrumes?

Yes it’ will be the same base and as I’ve mentioned there will be the two tweaks in the base to make the soap a bit firmer and one of the benefits of the added ingredient is we may also see it a touch more slicker as an added bonus.

Remember Dan this is a collaboration with DFS and not another soap maker so that’s all on me.

Good question though and glad you asked.

Despite the basic ingredients (link) are the same, Ethos "Succès" is way faster.
And I truely love the fragrance !!!

In response to a couple of messages I got in regards to the DFS / ETHOS Shave soap label I can assure by our that the DFS logo is in Dark Navy Blue not black! 

I think when the real labels are printed you’ll be able to see the logo is clearly Blue.

UPDATE:  

So since andrewjs18 posted the news up in announcements I thought I’d post It up in here. DFS and ETHO Grooming Essentials is doing a collaboration! Andrew and I have been talking about this for a month or so and yesterday my graphic designer Monica, Andrew and myself put together the label for the Shave Soap as shown in the photo. Andrew wanted the blue or very close to the blue color that he uses on this site so we started there and went through a few different designs until settling on this one. Monica found a brushed aluminum background similar to my caps but as you can tell by the photo it’s a bit darker than the real thing. This Shave soap will be in my new jars as any new soap I cone out with from now on will be. I’m pretty excited about this and feel honored to be picked to make some shaving products and maybe a couple of bath and shower products in this scent which is an Italian Colonia type scent which is what Andrew wanted right from the start.  I will update info on the soap and scent as it gets close to the release which should be in early October as I still have to make it and then let it cure.  

Hope you guys like it to as it’s not always easy to mix two brands on a label and have them blend and I think Monica did a great job! 

Can you please describe the scent? Characteristics? Scent notes? I’m admittedly fragrance ignorant....

I don’t know if you saw my earlier post but it’s an Italian Colonia scent. andrewjs18 and I agreed I’d release the complete information on the notes when the product is closer to release and they will also be posted on my upcoming website.
