Honestly, build the website gonna help Frank to get lots of orders; but may not be good for us, if everything becomes sold-out quickly.
I can order whatever I want through email easily.

I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that my staple Shave soaps like Lavender are always in stock. Limited or seasonal releases may sell out but they will probably always be made again. when they come up again.

Also thanks for the kind and encouraging words.!

The Skin Food Splash is also fantastic. Not shown was the First Lather and the Revitalizing Serum. Needless to say, all products made by Frank are top shelf and of exceptional quality.

I have to say WOW what a great photo and I just had a friend send me the the Rocnel 2019 Salor to try out and I can't wait to take it for a spin!

Thanks Frank. The Sailor is an interesting razor. I like aggressive razors and this is that and more. I probably don’t need to tell you but let the weight of the razor do the work. No extra pressure is needed. I like it at the M/A setting. I think the lowest setting starts at a .90 gap. It took my a couple of shaves before I really began to enjoy how good this razor shaves.

Frank, how can I get acquainted with the kits on offer?  I want to experience the beauty of your best sets.

Rocnel-adjustable-sailor is a really great razor.  Careful, after using it, you may want to sell all the other razors.  I have a 2019 model and I am looking forward to trying the 2020 model.

Well if you want to email me I can help you out. I'm at ethosgroomingessentials@gmail.com

Yeah I had the 2017 Sailor but that was not as good as my Vintage Gibbs so I sold it but the release of the 2019 kind of sparked my interest as I read reviews and I hear the 2020 is just as efficient but smoother. I'm going to take it for a spin for tonights shave.

I got to try the Lavender shave soap for today's shave and it was very intuitive on the first use. I think it was easy to say it was perfect for how it functioned in the shave. I am looking forward to using it later this week for my first straight razor shave in a quite a few years. It worked really well with loading a sample of an almond size smear and use a totally wrung out badger knot. It didn't have the same foamy protolather when I used the grapefruit sample the first two shaves. It took the water very smoothly like DanLaw said so I think next time I will see if I can just use the remainder of the first smear. I like the lavender scent better once it is lathered compared to sniffing the product. I do enjoy many lavender scents but this is a well done one even if it is simple.

Dragonsbeard How long do you make the lather on the face when you shave? I think using your stuff is like a lot of stuff I enjoy to try and use a few good minutes to coat the face with a bit more paste first and then really hydrate it fully. I'm okay if some don't want to do it but I like the ingredients and want to know what you think. Is there a benefit of duration for applying your product? I am open to purchasing your preshave if that is out of testing and available. I will eventually order an aftershave but will update again in the thread when I get to shave again this week. Cheers

So I used the "clean" (unscented) set this morning and scooped an almond sized blob into the lather bowl. Lather was quick to foam but soon settled down into a smooth paste to which I added water until I got the glossy lather I was looking for. I noticed that the soap was quite a bit firmer than the "succes" soap. I checked the ingredients and sure enough they are two different formulas (although mostly similar). After the shave I checked the lavender soap ingredients and it was different from the other two. I'm sure it was mentioned earlier in the thread about the different formulas (and I'm just blind), but wouldn't it be cheaper to have one formula and add different fragrances than to develop many different formulas?
Anyway, the shave was very good, although it still makes my skin feel tight immediately after the shave. The splash is quite astringent and makes my skin "squeaky", maybe a touch more glycerin would fix it. Just voicing my thoughts, YMMV.

Exactly my experience as well.....all I have is the Lavender...Which I’ve used quite a few times...Might be a function of our particular skin types...

Zac when I lather up I will first swirl around on my face and neck to not only spread the soap but to get a little exfoliation going. I then spend about what seems to be about 2 to 3 minutes painting the lather on until I get a nice dense lather. I go WTG, XTG and ATG when painting and I always make my last pass still painting going in the exact opposite direction of the pass I'm going to be doing which to me assures me that I've made my hairs stand up as much as possible. I'm also a skin stretcher so I use a DE in the same manner that you'd use a STR8 razor. I take about 2 inch strokes and in fact I developed my own technique I call the SSSST which stands for Skin Stretch Short Stroke Technique and it's fully explained in the thread " World Shave Off Showdown the unbanned version. Check it out when you have time. I find using that technique I can not only use much more efficient razors without getting nicks, weepers or irritation but I can also achieve the same or better results in 2 passes as I would using a traditional technique in 3 or more passes.

As far as the First Lather Pre Shave Lather booster and Slickness Enhancer they have been available for about 2 weeks and they come Unscented or in Lavender, Melange D"Agrume and a blend of Cucumber fruit emulsion and essential oils of Spearmint and Lemongrass. Just email me and I can get some out to you. Feedback from a lot of my customers especially those that use STR8 razors on increased slickness when using any shave soap has been very good. It's very easy to use as it comes in a roll up container. I also do custom scents on anything that's in the Custom Collection.

Just shoot me an email at ethosgroomingessentials@gmail.com

Take care and great shaves!
