I was going to try and limit my purchases for the rest of the year...but I may need to try this.
Dragonsbeard do you ship to APO mailing addresses?

As of now there is not a list of ingredients on a forum I’m aware of but all the ingredients will listed on the website. As far as shipping to a APO address I have in the past. I will be getting an international shipping program as I’ve gotten a lot of requests from Europe and and Russia . So check back as I’ll announce the website on here and some other sites or just email me at ethosgroomingessentials@gmail.com

It shouldn’t be much longer, however, Frank is a one man show and has a full time job.  He was told by a few other soap artisans that he would only sell about 50 soaps the first few months and he has already surpassed 400 along with about the same amount of skin food so I think he is really feeling the pressure of quick success.

Thank you Mark!

True. Throughout the 16 yrs in the wet shaving community I’ve made a lot of friends and some of them are artisan soap makers and before I launched ETHOS I asked around hoping to find out what to expect and also was looking for some advise and any useful tips they could give me. So what I got was your a new brand that no one knows and probably in the first 2 to 3 months expect about 30 to 40 orders as thats normal. Also remember for every 100 shave soaps you sell figure on selling only about 25 to 30  aftershaves as that’s the normal Shave soap to Aftershave ratio. This was confirmed when I talked to West Coast Shaving.  So I made 50 soaps and 20 Skin Food splashes.  Well those numbers didn’t work out to well for me as the orders kept coming and coming. Not just Shave soaps but sets of both.soaps and Skin Food splashes. So at this point I’m at over 400 orders and I’m averaging 89% Aftershaves to Shave soaps. As Mark pointed out I work two other Jobs. I have a Hair care line I’ developed and had for over 20 yrs. that’s takes management in all areas . I also do R&D for other companies and was just hired a few months ago as head of Product development for a large CBD company where I develop all their CBD personal care products. It’s a great job and I work in a very sterile environment. I’ve made an agreement with them that I can use their state of the art facility to develop all my ETHOS products as long as it’s on the weekend. So trying to work these 3 jobs and make products to keep up with demand it means working 7 days a week right now. Also trying to fill as many orders as I’ve gotten and especially in the last month all through emails is very time consuming as it takes 3 times longer than ordering through a website which is connected to a quick pay and check out and a shipping program that automatically figures out the shipping costs and then when I get notification that I have an order it’s as simple as hitting a key where it says print shipping label. As some of you know going back and forth with emails and the getting order and shipping information sometimes takes 2 to 4 emails. All while answering questions about ETHOS where as the website will explain everything that ETHOS Grooming Essentials is all about.

So my apologies to those that have waited longer than normal for a turn around time on their orders. This will all change when my website is up. I also am hiring someone that can help me in the warehouse.

I just wanted to explain my situation when Mark brought it up.

I was going to announce that I was going to stop taking new orders until the website is up which allow me to catch up on all the orders I have it would also allow me to get prepared for when it does go up which shouldn’t be much longer. So not to disappointment my customers I’ll keep taking email orders but please understand that when ordering through emails it may take longer than normal before your order is shipped. I don’t want people getting mad at me so I’d rather be up front with why orders are taking longer than normal to fill and ship out. Oh and also because of the number of orders I’m stopping to make products to keep up with the demand and I’m also making new products that’s I’ll be releasing this week.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me in regards to your order as I go by date and time of the order so it depends on where you are on the list. Like I said this will all change with the website and I know there are those waiting for it to be up to place your orders and II’m looking forward to having you as a customer and hearing your feedback on the site. I think you’ll find it user friendly.

Thank you for your support and patience. I’m very lucky as I have a lot of great customers and many are fast becoming friends as well.

Best regards

Frank
