Any feedback on the pineapple noir compared to the other Aventus inspired scents from Stirling (Executive Man), A&E (Spartacus), and DG (Sellout)?  I find Sellout a little like lemon pledge and my Executive Man sample got damaged in transit.

Thanks!

I'd rather wait until my full bottle of the ethos success (pineapple noir) arrives rather than trying to compare the sample against my other aventus type scents.

I think I have these aventus type scents:
executive man (soap, balm & splash)
wsp olympus (beard oil)
viking ragnar (soap & balm)
Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito.

You did it Frank!

Had a great first go around with the unscented Ethos soap. Loaded very easy and I didn't find it difficult to get a nice lather. I’m sure after a few more uses I’ll have it dialed in nicely. I didn’t find it a very heavy dense lather... it was more moderate density but still plenty protective and slick. Post shave feel was nice and nourished but not heavy. Probably the lightest feeling post shave out of any of the soaps I currently have but still great and still noticeable. A few hours later and my face is feeling great and calm with no signs of any irritation. Good stuff.

Dave I'm glad you enjoyed the collaboration Shave Soap and Skin Food splash that Chris and I put together and you described it perfectly as Chris used a modified version of his premium base and then added the EOS Complex along with the fresh Goats milk and Camels milk I sent him. I in turn used his Essential oil/fragrance oil blend in the Skin Food splash and yes I twisted his arm to add more scent then what was in his normal Fresh Lime and don't tell him but I added a couple of more drops of a Lime EO I have I really like to the blend in the Skin Food splash LOL. As you know I'm on a mission to get a brotherhood of soap makers going and the one I had with Vida over a year ago and now this one with Chris and CBL is a good start. Looking forward to others. Also thank you for bringing up the shipping of orders situation. As you mentioned i was never expecting the number of orders I've gotten being a new brand and along with that not having a website which make filling orders much easier I also have my hair product line which is now down to just online sales as all the salons and spas who are my normal customers are all closed so the world is upside down for me right now and I've been working 7 days a week trying to play catch up. Plus it's a trickle down effect as ingredient suppliers are also back up and under staffed so getting products out there takes longer as well. Example I ordered Menthol Crystals over a month a go and just got them this past Friday. Once my website is up things will be much easier to process orders as far as ETHOS is concerned and I expect that up very soon. I will also have a vendors section on here as I've been in touch with Andrew and he's been nothing short of very supportive. So yeah DFS and the Cadre are my two favorite shaving forums.

Thanks again for another detailed review!

I wish I didn’t hate the term “skin food” so much. It makes me cringe. Not sure why.

Yeah I fought with it myself but how do you describe in 2 words a Complex that has 36 Skin beneficial ingredients in it.. it ain’t easy my friend trust me! Plus it’s a word most people can relate to. The 2 words Skin care would have been to generic.  So here’s the challenge. Since ETHOS is a very new brand get me  two words that are in between ETHOS & Splash that better describes what’s inside the bottle/complex and I may consider a change.  Of course I want you to know that when I tell my graphic designer about a change she will put a contact out on the both of us for changing the description! Lol!
