In my opinion the pineapple noir is the best aventus type scent. I have executive man, Platinum, Olympus and sellout. Pineapple noir is my favorite scent of all.

smurfups77  Gotta agree with you as ETHOS Pineapple Noir is my favorite soap/post shave available . The soap does not dry and is well hydrating whereas the AS/skin food is exceptionally hydrating and the EPT spay is a classy long lasting but not overbearing scent. There is no need for me to continue with the Aventus Creed which is only the cologne without the soap or skin food, and the competitors just cannot compare with the ETHOS Pineapple Noir ... as confirmed by my other half.

Thank you Frank AKA Dragonsbeard and I can't wait for further expansion of this "hydrating" ETHOS line in all your upcoming scents as well as your other "likely" planned surprises.

I agree with what is being said here. I’m extremely picky when it comes to Aventus scents because I wear that cologne. I have owned and tried all Aventus spin offs and I have sold all of them except ethos pineapple noir. I have kept pineapple noir because this is a interpretation of Aventus on pineapple steroids and not trying to be an exact copy of Aventus and that is what I like about it. In my opinion, it is a homage to the original formulation of Aventus which is no longer made because of regulations and it was very pineapple forward. These original bottle of Aventus go for thousands so I’m happy with ethos version of it

To all the people that are comparing the Pineapple Noir to Creed Aventus. A little over a year ago I brought a couple of tins of solid cologne I made that was my interpretation of the original Creed Aventus with the more Pineapple forward note to the Maggard meet up that I shared with some of the guys I met there and got very good feedback on it. Since I love anything Pineapple and that includes eating them lol I decided to play with the formula even more over the course of the next few months and it developed into what it is today which if you smell it side by side to real Aventus it does have a recognizable similarity in the base notes to Aventus especially the very first release but at this point it’s really become its own distinctive aroma. Btw Bo I have a little bit of the original left and your right if you can find a unopened bottle of it the cost can be well over $1.000 and even more.

Just wanted to clear that up for those thinking this is just a clone of Aventus. It has been so well received I’m going to be offering the scent in various different products which include a pre shave, a couple of new post shave products and some skin, hair & shower products.

An thanks guys for the detailed reviews!

Great shaves!

Haven't heard of it??!  My God, it's delicious.  It has ham and pineapple.  It's called a Hawaiian.

I LOVE pineapple on pizza. Not only with ham but also with chicken, banana peppers, bacon and jalapenos not all on the same pizza but in different combinations. My pizza most always includes pineapple. I am glad that my friend Frank made the pineapple noir because I was one of the ones who got to smell it last year and I knew I had to have it. As a matter of fact I am wearing the EDP today. Now I am just waiting on my other favorite fruit scent GRAPEFRUIT!!!

Well, given what I read so far about this new ETHOS shaving product I can only add that I am 2000% in agreement with those who found ETHOS Success the best pineapple scented shaving soap on the market and the entire line is certainly for me among 5 top contemporary men’s grooming products. You did it Frank!
