I'll be the voodoo doll... I don't like the adding of the word Breeze... Makes it feminine IMO.

Frank, as you cogitatate & vascillate, a few words from a pet peeve I have. I guess cause I am a grouchy get off my lawn guy, all of these fancy names where a buyer or potential buyer can't frigging decipher what the soap smells like is frustrating. 90% of your soaps, I can as Jethro says, 'sipher' what the scent pyramid is. But for example, Declaration Grooming soaps, which I love - wear wear me out as I have to take notes and spend quite a long time trying to figure out what the eff is in the jar. Getting too fancy on the name is exhausting. . A great name is sophisticated but also gives the user a clue. Great examples are Sandalo, Nuage, Bergamot to. Good onya. But DG, GD, and PA soaps.... I need a dang spreadsheet. And if it has been a while between uses, I have to crack the jar to remember what's in her.

Same I like Kailua

I’m going to post this up…1 agree Breeze is not an option so let’s throw that word out.

TommyCarioca I try to keep the names focused on what’s in the jar and yet give it a little pazazz , character etc. but also I think placing the products in collections help. Example you go to the the Agrume Collection you pretty much know that the scents in that collection are citrus based. What bugs me is if a product has a simple name of an aroma ingredient like let’s use Lavender, Sandalwood or Rose and you open the jar or aftershave and you find out that it’s got 10 different aroma notes in it and it doesn’t smell anything like the name that is on the jar. If you’re going to feature a single note then in my opinion it should have nothing else in it but that aroma be it natural or synthetic. If it’s complex then give it some fancy name. Another example since you brought the name up. My Sandalo Aristocrat does lead you to believe that Sandalwood is present or the main scent I didn’t name it just Sandalwood because it isn’t just Sandalwood in there. Now my Mysore Santal is just that and my Blood Orange, Rosa and Lavender is just that and no other notes or essential oils etc.

This Tropical aroma blend is made up of quite a few aroma ingredients and so it needs a cool name for sure but one that’s kinda tells you what to expect when you open the jar.

I like a name that evokes a tropical image inside the noggin so the name that did sound a little like Kahlua may be a little misleading to some. Like I mentioned a lot of good names so far and I’ll take the extra time my graphic designer has given me to pick one. I’ll be very clear I’m very grateful for Bouki for helping me and he gave me some choices .

All the best guys!

Frank, I joined this site back in 2022, but haven't been an active member. Your soaps show up among the wet shaving community worldwide... I have some skin issues that require me to use unscented soaps. I've looked at your website many times but I've never seen any unscented soaps. I don't know if you make any and I'm not seeing them or if they are a product with limited sales potential and you haven't seen the need.

I'd love to hear your take on the topic.

Frank does have an unscented line, Pure. https://ethosgroomingessentials.com/collections/pure But it is mostly out of stock on Ethos site. It is probably available, in part, at some of his resellers.
