I know and it was definitely a miscommunication issue but I called the other vendors and they are ok with it. I’m waiting on more labels as I made more jars of it than I had labels . If you remember I wasn’t going to make a whole lot but The Razor Company ordered a large number of them. Unfortunately we had a shipping problem as the box and a bunch of products got damaged so I had to back off on sending out any more and not putting mine up so I could send replacement lids with labels to TRC it is a somewhat complicated situation that should be fine as soon as the labels arrive.

Good Idea using the merchant thread to announce new releases and just keeping this one for general duscussions.

Can't wait for honeysuckle, growing up I used to walk past them on the way to school, always liked the way they smelled and we would always grab a couple to get a taste of nectar. Everytime I smell them now they bring back good memories of my childhood.

That's a bummer, Frank, sorry to hear that. Order issues are frustrating.

Hello guys

Just a little update. So the other day I had a little injury as I tore my Meniscus muscle so I had a couple of days of rest, ice and take 3 Advils and had to elevate the leg. I'm better for sure and I have an appointment with a Dr coming up but today is my first day back to work after being out since Sunday. Moving a little slow but I got some things done and made a batch of Lavender Supreme F Base today as I was running very low on it. Got some orders out also so I'm hoping that each day gets a little better. Anyone have the same problem and any advice or know what to expect?  I actually did it by turning around to fast. Having running shoes on my foot stays planted while the rest of me turned around so not a good thing! Such a weird way for this to happen. One of my customers whos a Doc said my muscle may have been weak to begin with. All I know is the first two days where not fun!

Anyway so far the Honeysuckle is made along with the Nuage di Citron, Vetivert and like I mentioned I squeezed in a batch of Lavender Supreme. Got to do a batch of Sucess real soon as I'm down to only like 3 jars of the F Base.  I'm a little behind schedule but not to badly.

Great Shaves all

Frank

Two critical things I've learned over the past 5 years: keto diet (overall health) and trigger point therapy (pain/injuries).

Buy this book:

You can buy a paperback or get it on Kindle... I have both. Easier to read and navigate on paperback, but Kindle has an app so it's with you in your phone.

There's been NOTHING (pain/injury -wise) that I haven't been able to resolve using the info in this book. I use it on a daily basis, pretty much... I'm active and go hard!

Smart man!
The first 2 or 3 chapters are the base knowledge you'll need to know so you know what you're doing...
The rest of the chapters are broken up by general area of body (back or lower leg or chest/shoulder), so that's where you'll find the resolution to the issues.

I’m sorry you are going through this.

Source: Multiple knee surgeries over the years (meniscus, ACL). Had top notch care every single time due to my fortunate circumstances. Expert? No. (Relatively) Well informed patient? Yes.

Firstly please be very very careful of any non-orthopedic suggestions. The meniscus is not a muscle. It’s a shock absorber which rarely heals itself (and even then it usually needs surgical intervention to be put in a condition to be able to heal itself). An MRI is the only real diagnostic if you are fortunate enough to have health insurance. You also need to confirm if there wasn’t additional damage (ACL,PCL,MCL) which is quite common. MRI and expert ortho advice are THE ONLY references here.

People can live just fine without intervention with certain categories of the above. Some people the pain goes away and they never notice anything again (minor tear - it doesn’t heal per se it just doesn’t interfere with daily life), some people have some knee “instability” and just deal with it, some people need surgical intervention to remain mobile. You won’t know where you are and the prognosis until you seek expert care.

Again, not a medical doctor. This is not medical advice. I’ve just lived through enough knee issues that I sympathize with anybody going through it and the pain and feelings of “oh shit did I just mess up my body and life forever” that sometimes come with these.

Thank you Matt and I’m ordering the book. I know you’ve been through a lot so I appreciate your help.

I need to change some of my lifestyle habits also.

Kind regards!

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I have an appointment with my regular Dr on Friday and I’m sure he’ll send me to an specialist Dr who will send me for an MRI. I was also reading that moving from side to side is not good when you have a meniscus tear. So I’m being aware of not doing that. It was pain on Sunday and most of Monday but apparently the Ice, resting and taking the Advil every 4 hrs helped as I’d describe the current state as soreness and kind of sensitive.

All the best!
