I just had my Krion delivered. Not much badger funk to talk about, but an intense smell of, I don't know, glue, moth balls, something chemical. Known thing with Epsilons?

I decided to keep the three band 55 and try it out. Perhaps it will be on the softer side, but variety is the spice of life Smile The feel of the handle is fabulous, unlike anything I have.

Great brush for the price, handle feels great, the chemical smell does take awhile to get out. I got the LE USA brush, the black one was not available, with 2 band 50mm loft

beautiful handles. I also really like the pure white look!

Congratulations, and I hope you find the 55mm loft to your liking. Please keep us informed.

This is the first Epsilon brush I have received with that chemical smell. My other three were strong badger when wet, but after 5 or 6 uses, it was gone. Likewise, I have used the Krion 4 times, so far, and I predict no remaining smell after a couple more. Personally, I preferred the badger smell. Big Grin

That chemical smell is a Vie Long attribute. I believe it has something to do with the way they store the hair. It can take a while to dissipate that's for sure.
