The typical Epsilon 2-Band knots are extremely nice, in my opinion. I would characterize them as being, possibly, just as comparable to the ones you have listed considering you can get one in the standard handles for around $110 -115 shipped.
You really should try one for yourself to find out.

Lu's brush is the Super (2-band) with a 55mm loft, although he tells me the loft is around 53/54mm. Only the Silvertip (3-Band) comes in a choice of 50 or 55mm.
I currently own the standard Epsilon Silvertip with a 50mm loft and have just ordered the same knot in the Krion LE. The 55mm loft is excellent in the 2-Band, but I wouldn't want to go higher than 50mm in the Silvertip, based upon my likes. The 50mm has just the right amount of backbone/splay and flow through, for me.
Thanks. The issue is, I much prefer the handles with just the logo, no US or Spanish flag. And the only one available at the time of my purchase yesterday was the silvertip in 55, so I went with it. Now I am considering whether to change to one of the other handles in order to get another knot... Oh, the hard choices in life!
Depends a bit on whether these knots are the same as the other Epsilon knots. I believe Lu says above that his Krion is slightly less dense than the regular. In which case your argument is strengthened. Both Dave blzrfn and Eric Essrbc11 is pro the 55 silvertip, in another (TSN) thread though... So the question is with whom my mileage does not vary

I can appreciate the difficulty as there's so much personal preference with a brush. Going on the basis of the new Krion being less dense (I am assuming this applies to both 2 and 3 Band), the 55mm Silvertip would be a definite no-no for me, but YMMV, obviously.
If you get the 55mm and don't like it, I doubt there would be any difficulty selling it on.

It depends on taste. Krion hair similarly soft to standard Epsilon, but slightly less dense and slightly less backbone. Silvertip is softer than 2-Band.
